Neglected and decaying in the middle of the woods. Urban Decay is present in this urban exploration, one of my favorite explores ever! Abandoned mansion. A world map and much much more to see! Urbex. Abandoned places.
Drive past this place almost every day. Friend of mine dated a girl that live there back in the day. Apparently it wasn't their main home. He said that her parents purposely built that house so their daughter could go to Peters Township school district.
Sounds like something a rich person would do

Interesting

I grew up in Bethel Park and I remember this property from a long time ago. I think that I was with my father who knew the people who lived there. That was the early 80's I think.
What street is it on?
When I explored this place I figured anyone who has an indoor pool or shower, was doing well for themselves no matter how big the pool was.
Especially back in those days, pools were more expensive to maintain than they are now.
I always wonder what the story behind houses like this are. Like why is there so much stuff and it's so scattered.
This reminds me of when I visited an abandoned hospital! Check the video, you won't be disappointed! ua-cam.com/video/9mBkYffZ5k0/v-deo.html
Wonder why these places get abandoned like that.
A lot of times it's because the cost of repairs or maintenance exceeds the value of the home. It's incredibly expensive to maintain a building that size. Also, most cities and States have code requirements. It's illegal to sell a building that is out of building code. And it's usually pretty expensive to bring an older building into code, especially one that's been neglected.
Didn't show the basement of the house, too much in big hurry.
Where exactly is this property in Canonsburg Pa?
It’s a very bad house.
