That’s great you’re detoxing. I know someone who was a heavy user for ~30 years and ended up with Cannabinoid hyperemesis syndrome (CHS). I had never heard of it before. It causes cycles of nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain.
I know some people who have had insane withdrawal symptoms that would last for months, that alone was enough for them to never pick up again. No one in my family seems to have that issue though. Glad you are trying to be healthier and hope you continue on in that direction !
I’ve quit on dec 19th 2022 ! I really wanted to quit smocking more than cannabis itself. Where I live it’s unfortunately still not l*g*l so there isnt many options to consume it and it was bad for my gums and throat at this point. Now I love feeling the freedom feeling of not depending on a product, but I’d love to have some edibles once in a while… tho I’m scared that it bring me back to a wake & bake lifestyle in no time as to me quitting was a very hard thing to do… i think it was a 3 years process…
Im 50 smoked since i was 18 and have had a few yrs without through that time , my experience was exactly the same ,stop when i want start when i want no issues with withdrawal and the friends we exactly the same as yours . Ive learnt that if issues in life are crazy its probably best not to smoke however i enjoy cannabis for fun activities like camping and socialising
