So we not gonna mention the guy that dies requesting his death certificate is the same guy waiting for his birth certificate in season 2 ep 14. A joke 4 seasons in the making.
Neither the fact that only Amy and Hermes gasped towards function that described number of constantly self-cloning Benders. Amy because she is well rounded with math (she had gotten doctorate in physics in the end). And Hermes as bureaucrat who is well rounded in math and accounting.
"The horse says, 'Doctorate denied!'" always gets me. Too many shows would have gone with the obvious "neigh" joke and it would have been decently funny, but subverting it this way was so much better.
it's not foreshadowing since the episodes these clips are from (season 6) came out after the 4 movies (season 5). it is a nice continuity nod though still.
This is one of my favorite seasons. I was so happy it came back and it seemed to hit all the right lol~nerves. And in 10 days we’ll get some new episodes and I can’t believe it ❤🎉
I like how they made Amy an actual intern and then Doctor studying with Professor Farnsworth. Another show would have just made her answer the phones or some other menial job. Which reminds me they need someone to answer the phones.
Wait, so if the nano-Benders turn water and CO2 into alcohol to burn, wouldnt burning the alcohol turn it back into water (vapor) and CO2? Wouldnt that mean the entire reaction is essentially a closed loop?
The jokes in this season were good, the problem was that the pacing was a bit wonky when compared to the earlier seasons. But the quality had gone back to the old standards later down the line.
Every season of Futurama was great for the sheer fact that they weren't willing to sacrifice their identity for other reasons. In contrast, look at Family Guy. The first two or three seasons have a VERY different feel from how the rest of the entire show has been. Most of the main characters were gullible, ignorant, or ditzy, and now they're (mostly) those things AND also wildly aggressive toward each other. It's COMPLETELY different in tone, and has ruined the experience entirely.
Futurama is the best no matter what season Season 11 was kinda eh.. in my opinion, no offense I think one of my favorite episodes is reincarnation, I love it how the Planet Express crew was in different universes but the video game and rubber hose cartoon really got me excited, since I’m a cartoonist myself ^^ But favourite season is the third, i love most of the episodes and especially The Honking That episode actually inspired me to make one of my characters an arc for roleplay :>

no we not gonna mention
so we
So we not gonna mention the rains down in Africa?
"The Horse says Doctorate Denied" is the Pinnacle of Futurama humor
Pinnacle of the creators stupidity and shamelessness
"The horse says, 'Doctorate denied!'" always gets me. Too many shows would have gone with the obvious "neigh" joke and it would have been decently funny, but subverting it this way was so much better.
it's one of the jokes from the comedy central era that I actually think about
his whole thing was making animal sounds so it was a good subversion
That’s standard comedy. Setup, reinforcement, subversion
It's my number one favorite joke of the entire series lol
that wouldn't even be a joke, it doesn't invert anything
"I don't want to live on this planet anymore."
A quote that will remain relevant for decades to come, I'm sure.
For centuries it will be relevant, but atleast at one point we can follow up those words with im leaving this planet.
It's relevancy is only going to get better over time.

"Oh, I try to act cool but inside, I'M FREAKING OUT!"
Too real.
Hearing Bender emerge saying "I got 48 cents!" made me literally do a spit take laughing
Pics or it didn't happen.
Hi larz!? The time travel plot was name dropped
"Hi lars" "fry" "whatever"
Considering Lars was fry, that makes sense.
"Sooo the orgy's off?"
Hell no it ain't off 🥵
I love the reactions to the Bender Math equation. The rate at which they react is a neat touch
Bender's camouflage in the Mafia episode actually worked.
I love the fact that the B in bureaucracy is the mcdonalds logo 🤣
Does all the work involve children?
No, not the whipping.
lol
That one Ive never seen!
at least quote it right
2:31 wow, thats really good foreshadowing
like she called him lars automatically because he IS lars

nah this is after the movies, so it...postshadowing??

These are great! I even found 2 moments that I never saw, so now I have an excuse to rewatch all season 6!

Knowing the Professor, he probably automated the phones to save money
@@DD-ec2oqknowing the professor, planet express either has a long unused and abandoned phone line or Hermes has been doing it this whole time
Fry or Bender can do it.

Pretty sure it's the same guy from season 2 who initially queued up to get his birth certificate.

So thats how they stayed alive 😳
that infinite series genuinely looks sensical
Considering many of the writers have doctorates it’s probably a real equation
@@kreigguardsman3355proof?
I think it's just the harmonic series shifted by one and then multiplied by Bender's original mass, which does diverge.
It's the harmonic series which goes to infinity
Zoidberg might not be a good Doctor, Comic or Gambler but he was awesome on that Theremin.
"hi lars"

apparently the resemblance was obvious to others lol

That final clip, moving the goal post at its finest.
“The horse says [DOCTORATE DENIED]”
“Not the whipping”
There may be a bit less depth here and there or whatever, but the concepts and the jokes in the last seasons are so whacky and wonderful!
It was rated. Everyone knows it was fire.
Idk I think its getting more respect with time. More than when it first aired... Which im really happy for.
