      @@malcolmbogie amen!! I work as a flight attendant and I agree with you. In 21 years as a flight attendant I've never kicked a passenger off until 2019. It was due to the passenger throwing racial comments as well as throwing a glass of wine. Since January 2021 I've kicked 5 people off due to mask compliance issues. Yeah we all hate the mask and some may not agree with the effectiveness of the mask. BUT it's a federal mandate and flight attendants don't make the rules. I've been assaulted, spit on, and cussed out. A 5 year ban is nothing because most of the offenders rarely fly. A permanent ban and jail time is sufficient. In the end we don't get arrested. NO NO NO!! We get ourselves arrested.

      I completely agree with you Ms Trujillo. It's the easiest thing to simply sit in your seat and do not bother the other passengers.
      When nature calls then politely move past the people between you and the aisle. Go use the _lavatory,_ wash your hands, and repeat the process but in reverse.
      You pretty much have to *want to be a troublemaker* for there to be a problem.

    The smirk is the hallmark of a scared little boy. He's so afraid of looking afraid, that he overcompensates. Instead of just shutting up when the flight attendants told him to, he kept running his mouth so as not to look like he was giving in or backing down. I know the sort well. What passengers fail to realize is that as soon as you enter any facility, including an aircraft or even the terminal, you fall under the Aeronautics Act. This can present a world of problems for you should you cause any disturbance of any kind. As well, while on board any aircraft, the Pilot in charge assumes the authority of a peace officer and can arrest you. Should you refuse you will then as well be charged with resisting arrest. Should you land in another country, good luck!

    • @galady8632
      @galady8632 3 роки тому +7

      Freestanding 1000 - exactly! The NO FLY LIST is also a reality. Many passengers lost their six digit+ paying jobs due their behavior leading to them no longer being allowed to fly on domestic USA flights. I understand it is rare for everyone to be happy all the time. If anyone is unhappy with a situation there are ways to file complaints, often online. No risk of being removed from a flight when not on a plane. Rarely is it worth causing a plane to land to be removed. If you keep your do not raise your voice, start swinging fists, blatantly opt for self-gratification in front of other passengers (sadly it happens), drink your own alcohol, refuse to keep your mask over your nose and mouth during a pandemic, etc - it is rare the authorities will remove you. One exception = flying into TelAviv. First the passenger is removed, details handled later. Most passengers are aware there's no discussion so there's rarely issues. It is quite effective.

      @@galady8632 Agreed. You do NOT want to screw around with airlines in Israel's airspace. Never. EVER!
      Those who act the fool on a plane flying anywhere near Israel will experience very bad energy coming down upon their unprotected heads.

      @@krisaaron5771 - I totally agree with you. As a 51yr flight attendant with a major US based airline with a strong international impact I have observed far too many totally ignorant and unacceptable outbursts. Over the yrs I have flown on many airlines throughout the world. The 'episodes' that occurred on El Al (just one airline example, of course), were handled in a bit of a blur. The aircraft would land asap and the interloper(s) was/were always quickly removed. The armed-to-the-teeth soldiers were efficient and intense. (Usually a minimum of 10 beefy soldiers. 4 to deal with each 'situation', the others to maintain total control of everyone on the aircraft.) Announcements were made for everyone to remain seated, remain quiet, all eyes remain on the floor, do not touch electronic devices and keep all aisles clear in order to avoid potential injury. The soldiers literally hog-tied the disruptive passenger(s), and they were removed from the aircraft above the heads of several soldiers. Since the government has partial ownership of El Al the laws are vastly different. I doubt US citizens would tolerate such actions. But I admit I never considered touching my cellphone or trying to go to the lavatory. That type fear is a huge equalizer. Usually the time from when the aircraft door opened until it closed was less than :10. Very efficient and effective.

      @@iloveslotvideos1188 while that is true, my point is that many societies have gone through a phase whereby those of the agricultural and working classes now have either moved up to the middle class (without sufficiently gaining class, defined here as manners, restraint, consideration, patience, diplomacy and sophistication), or they simply have access to easy credit (a la credit cards, subprime reverse mortgages, equity loans etc.) to afford things previously beyond them. However, not having the graces to exist in these new environments, they tend to destroy the atmosphere for the rest of us. So yes, while money does not equal class, the price of admission was previously a barrier to entry for all but a small sampling of crass recent plebeians, however, now, we are subjected to the moneyed recent-plebeians or credit-endowed non-moneyed plebeians everywhere.

The M25 is notorious so on occasion I traveled the night before to a cheap B&B. Never leave check in at the last minute, never wait for last call. Most of all stay calm as losing your temper changes nothing and after arrival to the hotel of my destination im relaxed so after checking in a nice long cool beer and a stress free holiday. If the flight is delayed or cancelled the only thing you change is your blood pressure so why abuse your body. Happy flying

      Not true, most cases are because unlimited alcohol is served from the push of the button at your request and secondly, this is economy class, you guys can still fly in style, really good style!, it's called business class and first class, so if you can't afford that, stick to economy and have a safe flight!..

      Tommy Knockers You still don’t get it. Back in the day, people dressed up to fly on planes. They didn’t wear pajama bottoms and flip flops. People didn’t have the disposable income to fly everywhere. We didn’t have $59 flights to the other side of the country. Yes, alcohol is the reason for many of these cases but we also didn’t have the trash of society flying either. Because they couldn’t afford it. Some of these aren’t even alcohol fueled. It’s entitled attitudes.

      @@d05wtt I disagree strongly and that's ok, African and Caribbean people have been flying since the 60s, I guess it's just me, economy class has always been the same, the screaming baby, the drunk passengers, the overweight guy your hoping doesn't sit next to you, maybe I'm just different, business class is very different and first class is very different even down to the food they serve you and the toilet you use, but if you have a problem with any of this, it's as simple as paying more to fly business or first class and that's it, problem solved.

They did deserve to be taken off the plane and I think they acted like jerks. But this brings up a good point. What can you do when someone offensively stinks? I encountered that on a plane once where it was clear the man sitting next to me hadn't bathed in days and he smelled so bad it literally made me nauseous. Or what about when you have an uncontrollable screaming child next to you or someone that is extremely large that they take over your seat. Passengers should have rights as well and these type of issue s need to be addressed too.
