loved playing this game, though it did feel very easy compared to the main gradius games and gradius 95(an old fanmade gradius game for the pc9800). The game is very well made, but i also do wish they had a pixel artist who could replicate the style of the gradius bosses and make more custom ones because custom bosses are always exciting and offer new things you wont expect. GGs tho Also I have a big question: Is there a gradius community place like as a discord server or something because I've always wanted to talk to gradius fans and maybe see what they have worked on
Loops are the real challenge on this one, but I do admit it is easier because of the QoL changes. I also think the developer wants to make the design as close as possible to the original gradius games, so no extensive customizations were made. I only know about a Gradius reddit community, not sure if there's a discord server included there or anything of the sort. I'm certain there's a forum for it on a Japan website though coz Gradius is farily popular there.

It resets speedup, making your ship slow like from the start. Iirc I made a mistake of getting 3 speedups and I'm not used to it (I always use 2 only even in official Gradius Games) so I took one black capsule - I just dont recall what stage atm.

Why do you avoid the black power up capsules? Do they destroy your ship, like poison mushrooms kill Mario?
