I’ve had my Urban Gentry Safari for two years now and it’s pretty much my everyday watch. It’s the perfect size, keeps great time, sits great on my wrist, and looks great with any strap I throw it on. I love this watch.
@@rohitbansal7230 Thank you so much. I you really want one, I would keep my eyes open for the coming model called the Astra. It´s supposed to be to the datejust what the falcon is to the explorer. Also, the Safari comes up from time to time on Chrono24
@@santiguierrez I am not a huge fan of falcon honestly. It’s very close to explorer to the extent that it looks like a homage. Fingers crossed on what they come up with 🤞
Thank you so much man, I very much appreciate it. If you ever release a microphone I would buy it! Your sound quality is the envy of UA-cam! Keep up the great videos. Best regards, TGV
I had the opportunity to see a Rolex Bubbleback (with cooper dial) in the flesh back in the day and I loved it right away. I knew I wouldn’t be able to get it back then, and now I also understand the complexity of owing a vintage piece… so I pretty much gave up on thinking about owning a piece like that, also nobody was making 35-36mm watches in that style… UNTIL NOW! So, I really want to say THANK YOU! Thank you for making this watch happen. You guys literally made this guy the happiest on earth with this release!
I just lucked out and bagged a Lorier Safari (copper)!!! I now have both the original Panda and Blue chronograph , the original guilt Hyperion, and now the Safari!!!! I am so excited and I have you, Tristan to thank for introducing them to me, fellow Limey, and watch lover.
I got mine too around a month ago! It´s so beautiful and nicely done. I am actually quite interested on the hyperion too. Would you mind sharing some of your experience about the watch with me? Thank you so much
I was just looking at Lorier today! They look really nice. I was looking at the Falcon 2, but it is out of stock in the blue I liked. I really like the way the company is positioning itself and its business model. I am desperately trying to keep from pulling the trigger, but with it being an American company, I my not be able to resist! Thanks as always for putting this out there, TGV. I was literally walking out of the hotel to head to the jet when this came out. Looking forward to learning more about Lorier as soon as I get to my next layover. Be well, my friend. Onward and upward!
Again I have to congratulate both you and Lorier. These time pieces are nothing short of pure class. I must own one! It's a really tough decision on colour but I think the copper gets the vote from me.
The copper sold out within 2 mins.. I think I put a typo in and had to re enter my card and missed the original 150 piece stock.. beautiful watch I guess I’ll get to enjoy it in 6 months. Love Lorier I own the falcon 2 in white absolute stunner love the dimensions as I have a smaller wrist. Can not lie my obsession with watch collecting started from this channel TGV just has that effect on people so naturally I had to pull the trigger on this collab!

Stunning looking watches. Love the crosshair dials. I'm very into vintage at the moment and I've been wearing my early 70s Ricoh Automatic recently. Great collaboration sir and fantastic purchase for anyone. Love the white one. Great video as always 👍
Thank you Chris 🙌🙌🙌 Coming from you, that means the world. P.s. I just googled "70s Ricoh Automatic", those are some crazy looking watches, very cool indeed.
I met Lauren and Lorenzo at the Wind Up Watch Fair in Chelsea Market this Fall and Lorenzo hinted he had something interesting coming soon, I had no idea this was it! Well done TGV. A great collaboration Lorier and your Baby is a thing of beauty!
That copper dial is gorgeous! I’ve been waiting for something new from Lorier, and it being a collaboration with you makes me even more excited. Congrats, TGV!
I love my Lorier watches! I have two, the Neptune series II and the Gemini Panda. The quality and fit and finish is incredible especially at the price. Great value and handsome watches on the wrist that are elegant and timeless. Of all the watches I have (54+) the Lorier are two of my favorites and my wife's too, as she requests me to wear them several times especially for special occasions. I have been looking at wanting the Hyperion for several months now, but now with this limited run i want the Safari too!!!! Looks like I will be getting 2 new Lorier watches for Christmas!
TGV, you've inspired me to begin to review my own humble watch collection on my other channel. I love them and am passionate about what they add to my life. Thank you for being a Gentleman and inspiring many. 😊🙏
The watch looks great, nice classic dial layout and good movement for the price point.. I've had the same movement for about half a year now , mine runs about +-10 seconds a day when being worn and face up in storage. ( Unregulated )
And what a fantastic watch it is... I must say I am very tempted by the copper dial variant. I really want to see more of these co-designed watches, each one I would happily own. Great work as always!
The white one with a light brown leather strap, that's for sure! These perpendicular lines remind me a bit of zephyr rolex dials, classic timeless references only! Nice collaboration, TGV! Amazing specs for the money as well. Happy holiday season for you and your family! My best wishes!
Amazed that you showed the prototypes. Personally, I prefer the white dial over the copper. Hopefully Omega is considering you to bring back the Ranchero.

I don't know about anyone else, but definitely getting a "Raders of the Lost Ark" / Hemingway "Green Hills of Africa" vibe! Great job to you, Lauren, and Lorenzo for a fantastic piece!

That's an absolute peach of a watch.... congratulations to you all. Think that could be heading for the collection!! Thanks for all the years of videos TGV, awesome always, you've cost me a fortune!!! 😅
I just pulled the trigger and bought the ivory-dial variant! The brushed copper is so intriguing and I almost bought both models. Haven't got a copper dial watch yet and haven't seen one in real live, so I feared it might not fit my style - but it looks so fascinating!
I paused for 20 seconds with second thoughts and it cost me the in stock one lol. I think the copper sold out in a minute. The white a little longer. You can't go wrong with either.
@@tydish That's too bad, I checked the store about 15 Minutes after it launched. Aaaand I just pre-ordered the copper version too, just couldn't resist. I don't think another watchmaker will release a copper dial watch in a smaller size (36mm) with this old-school crosshair dial which I love. Recently bought the Longines Hertiage Classic for the same reasons, smaller than 40mm, classic/retro look with it's sector and crosshair dial.
Wow, that is a stunning watch. I'm looking at their website now and love the ivory dial. The copper is cool, but not quite my style. Thank you for not putting a lot of billboarding on the dial. That feels way more classy and classic that way.
It's crazy... Spent literally months looking for a field watch under 1k with a green strap. None I really like, even Hamilton which is the obvious choice. And then this!!! Man, I love the copper, I just set an alarm to get one when it's launched :) Good job TGV!
What a gorgeous watch! I love this company, and I love my white dial Lorier Falcon 2. If there were a black dial version of this, I would snatch it up in a heartbeat, but sadly I just don't need another white dial everyday watch.
I thought I put on an episode of Bosch for the first half minute. Nice musical montage. I was born in 1957...so difficult to pick just one birth year watch. Gorgeous watch! I love the blued hands and the dial is perfect. White dial for me, please.
Good evening tgv, well well well you done so well to keep that under your hat, they are beautiful pieces, for me the copper is my choice, but ultimately I would be more than happy with either, congratulations my friend, I’ll see if I can purchase one maybe after Christmas, kind regards your friend Ryan.
Although 36mm is just too small for my size/personal taste, I think any of the gentry purchasing it will be pleased. The choice of white dial or copper are brilliant. I love the dial design, strap, and the right amount of polishing. Also good for you for sticking to the 100m WR requirement. I completely agree about 100m. It just makes a watch into a GADA watch, which may be my favorite type of watch. I hope they sold well. I had never heard of the Lord Sanford Ranchero (and find scant info online), but love the design. Great effort with the prototypes in sticking with the look, but I feel the final watches hold more universal appeal. They're taking cues from vintage watches, yet still feel modern in overall aesthetic.
I have the same issue with the size as my wrist is 8 1/4”. I have my late grandfather’s 34mm watch which I wear very rarely and a 38mm field watch which gets some reasonable wrist time, however would much prefer this style in 40-42mm. Purely a personal preference, and I really can’t be upset as I have no problem with wearing watches that many seem to complain about being far to large (TGV). A cracking watch.
What a beautifully designed watch. This is a sure hit.I really like the copper dial. I own a Lorier Hydra SII and the quality of my watch is first rate.
Was lucky and got one of the first batch. Still cool they’re offering the larger second batch window. The price, size and style really came together on this one.
Salmon for me. Lovely. Now the Ranchero (farmhand) I believe that moniker didn’t help sales in the USA and my have had something to do with the lack of sales. Of course you could argue the AquaTerra is the replacement. Great episode, fab watches 🏴👍👍
Fantastic Watch! Looks like I've seen this video too late. Orders are closed. That's a bit sad, because this watch seems to fit my taste so well and it's hard to find a watch that does that. Love the combination of the Ivory and olive colour. You did a great job co-designing this piece of art!
Many, many, many congratulations mate..another banger! The case is lovely, and I love the outline around the numerals I think it makes a woooorld of difference. And you're right, so does the hesalite. Kudos man.
It's a beautiful watch! It's so close to perfection! I personally can't get a watch without a date function lol because thats 50% of the info a watch should give you! Also, I have to do bracelets instead of straps. But aesthetically, this is one of the most beautiful watches i've ever seen. Great job man!
Good evening TGV! Wow, those are stunning watches from Lorier. I think my favourite is the one with the salmon dial, quite a unique offering for this type of watch. And the caseback is a plus! Best regards!
Warm congratulations on yet another stunner...and I say that as someone who's found a lot of recent releases lackluster at best. Not sure I can scare up the dosh in time (had my Vespa trashed in a bad accident a few days ago), but I'm keeping my eye out for that enamel-ish white-dial version - drop-dead gorgeous.
LOVE the shots of Philly TGV!! Also, just received mine and it is a triumph! I wanted another Lorier after my Falcon but was hesitating on pulling the trigger on the secondary market, but I'm glad I finally did! Congrats again on another badass collab!
So well done! Lorier has always been on my list but this just went to the top. Usually crosshair dials are bothersome to my eyes, not this one. and THANK YOU for not having a date window....this is perfect!
well those sold out quick, pre-orders are now up for one day. the copper dial sold out quicker than the ivory dial though both in under 5 minutes or so. i appreciate the way lorier chose to handle this release. big up to them. i tried for years to get a smiths everest direct from timefactors and that never worked out as they sold like cocaine to diego maradona, and i didn't want to go secondhand. after all of that i do hold a bit of a grudge (probably unreasonable) against smiths. you can't be mad at lorier though, they're a class act and have class designs. with the sector dial, this is gonna fill the gap of a vintage bulova, elgin, hamilton or benrus for me.
I’ve had my Urban Gentry Safari for two years now and it’s pretty much my everyday watch. It’s the perfect size, keeps great time, sits great on my wrist, and looks great with any strap I throw it on. I love this watch.

Thank you so much sir! 😎🙏
Best regards,
TGV
well those sold out quick, pre-orders are now up for one day. the copper dial sold out quicker than the ivory dial though both in under 5 minutes or so. i appreciate the way lorier chose to handle this release. big up to them. i tried for years to get a smiths everest direct from timefactors and that never worked out as they sold like cocaine to diego maradona, and i didn't want to go secondhand. after all of that i do hold a bit of a grudge (probably unreasonable) against smiths. you can't be mad at lorier though, they're a class act and have class designs. with the sector dial, this is gonna fill the gap of a vintage bulova, elgin, hamilton or benrus for me.
Cracking design!
I love your intros!
Nice design. Condensing all essential features from past generation best sports watches.
