Hey there, thank you for making this video. It was very helpfull. I have just installed an aster with quantum trigger in my ics cxp uk1 captain. I would like to share my experience so it may help others and make the installation even easier. Here is my experience: -if you install the quantum trigger, then you don't need to install the gearbox sticker: -the gearbox don't have to be sanded down with sandpaper, just degrease it a bit; -calibrating the sector gear and selector switch is very easy and will take about 5 seconds using the gcs app (with usb link or bluetooth link), just follow the steps that the gcs app will show you). -Then you probaly also don't need to reverse the selector plate sticker as mentioned in this video. Just place the sticker with the smallest black line the normal way. Best regards Sep

I had a question I have the same gearbox with that type of anti-reversal latch but can’t seem to remove the anti reversal latch due to the black looking thing in the back, it seems to lock it in. Have you been able to remove the anti-reversal latch by any chance? Thanks and keep up the good work!
Hi saboture Are you using the stock motor and gears for this build? And what voltage battery do you run. I'm new to airsoft and have the ape, it just seems a little sluggish and whiny compared to other people's guns. Thanks
@@Saboter thanks, I did try an 11.1 volt battery but it would over shoot on single fire with the gun standard and a m105 spring. I've ordered the gate astra so will have a play around.

Thanks! It can be removed if you force it a bit but be careful!
@@Saboter How would you remove it? With a flathead screwdriver or using pliers? It almost like it's glued in there. Thanks again!
@@seanster3959 with a flathead from the trigger side of the gearbox. Remove inner side first.

I use stock gear, they are great. 11.1 battery and it's awsome

Maybe you have to change the amps on the safety. Read manual. It's been a while but I'm pretty sure it's solvable
That gate trigger fires soon as you touch it but is there anyway to get rid of all the over travel of the trigger?
Could be done but I don't think it's easy
Only real way is to put some j-b weld in the pack of the gearbox to Block overtravel look into air trigger mod
