The Deathsaurer was OP as fuck! I remember watching this exact episode back then , and it was epic! Still have vague memories of parts of this episode up to now.
I was surprised to hear how some of the Zoids in this series were massively over-sized. Death Saurer, Ultrasaurus and Seismosaurus being by far the worst offenders. Like the Death Saurer is MEANT to be only SLIGHTLY taller than the Gojulas, but in the anime it's like 3x or more bigger. As Gojulas only comes up to its KNEE.
Yeah, they were oversized for dramatic purposes, even their power had been exaggerated for the same effect same as the liger in NC0 they didn't have organoid systems, the first Zoids to have those were the Gun Snipers and Rev raptors later the blade Liger and the Geno Saurer, the liger was just built differently, while normal Zoids were built by taking the Zoid Core and building a body around it the Liger was a wild Zoid turned into a war machine.
@@raptros That's interesting, and I was surprised to find out the Liger Zero is actually smaller than even the Shield Liger, but the NC0 anime makes it seem comparable to the Blade Liger, which itself is considerably bigger than the Shield Liger. And it's interesting how the performance of Zoids is often tied to the Organoid System, or lack therof. Funny that the Rev Raptor DOES have the Organoid System but Chaotic Centry treats it like cannon fodder. And I noticed they refer to the Liger Zero as a "Wild Zoid" which makes sense given it wasn't built like most Zoids are. The Berserk Fury being another Wild Zoid I believe.

And the liger was not originally from the republic the original was stolen by an Ace and it was reverse engeneered.

It's been a little while, so I may be remembering things incorrectly, but it's because of Zoid Eve. Zoid Eve is the power source of all Zoids. Organoids are basically signal boosters that draw more power from Zoid Eve. An Organoid can bring Zoids closer to their full potential even when Zoid Eve is significantly weakened. The Ancient Zoidians powered Zoid Eve down to nearly nothing in order to contain the Death Saurer centuries earlier. They did this rather than destroying it so that all the other Zoids would be spared. Fiona elected to destroy it since the Death Saurer continued to return time and time again, and she felt it was only a matter of time before it wiped out all life on Zi. So she chose to sacrifice all Zoids to protect everything else. In order to destroy Zoid Eve she had to bring it back to full power, which brought all Zoids on the planet to their full potential during the process. So Van's Blade Liger effectively was in the same state as when Zeke would fuse with it. It was potentially even more powerful since we can assume Zeke wasn't able to draw the same amount of energy that Zoids receive when Zoid Eve is at full power. (I'm assuming this because Zeke gets progressively stronger through the show, so it's clear he had room to grow.) So the Blade Liger was already in an "awakened" state without the need for an Organoid. I have no doubt that Zeke would have certainly given Van even greater power, though, as we see Shadow significantly increase the Geno Breaker's CPC even though Zoid Eve is fully online.

you know that in real story king gojulas took down numerous of guylos empire zoids before the meteor hit. i mean w/e the case. i bet on king gojulas over death saurer. it's just too powerful.

Going wild on a war and being killed by a meteor is nothing compared to wiping the ancient Zodiants off the face of the planet and killing all life on it to boot and compresses the gravitational power of a black whole with no damage.
+Marxdfortis Bell invalid, King Gojulas has a spitting image of godzilla. Also known as the zoid who nearly single handedly ended the war before a meteor struck and destroyed almost all zoids.
I don't get why hiltz destroyed the death stinger to bring back the death Saurus because the death sting was basically indestructible and he decided to sacrifice that to bring back something that already got destroyed once it doesn't make sense to me
It's the Mega Death Saurer..... This one is powerful because it's the real Saurer. Van defeated it using the same technique: running through Death Saurer's core w/ a shield+blade attack but this one's different.... The Blade Liger is fired in the Gravity Cannon and shot through D.Saur's core.

Like i really loved this anime but overall i just can't accept the way they defeated the deathsaurer, like that cannon had the power to shoot an extremely powerful nuke shell and you expect me to believe that van and the blade liger could survive that trip without any type of physical damage, i mean look at the blade liger and you will notice that it has the same amount of damage it had before it was shot out of the cannon, i mean even by zoid standards that should be impossible.

I've seen the zoids zero show on Netflix and it is ok for what it is I don't like the open air cockpit on those zoids tho
