I'm a relative newbie (4 years) to BBS and love watching the older videos & crowd. Sure wish I'd heard of them earlier. I'm doing my best at catching up. Such great live shows.
In 2009 my friend and I were getting weary from the rally events. We rode out to the Broken Spoke where Blackberry Smoke was playing in the afternoon. I had no idea who they were. I was blown away with a refreshed since of beer drinking.
Re-watching in semi-lockdown from France December 2020; BBS rocks on and has for a long time; thanks for the concert. See them live folks! Thanks Dan Strobel and the "boys": Charlie, Paul, Richard, Brit and Brandon! Brilliant. Lili, best fan in France~!
@@thomasbrown8534 I guess to each their own. There is no doubt Skynyrd is the best , but BBS has taken Southern Rock to a New level. With the “music” out today, I’m a sure thankful for BBS
Finest rock music from start to finish - and the first spectator at all raises his arm on 1:10:52, when he recognizes "Up on Cripple Creek"! Oh man - I`m embarrassed of that audience. Did they all have some downers in their five o`clock tea? No offense - at least they like the band, clap their hands and make some noise. I expected some more enthusiasm from the bikers there. Whatever - The Blackberry Boys get there money somehow or other. Thanks for posting!
Maybe. In the description by Dan he seems to have the dates nailed down pretty clearly. No matter, really, it is a fabulous BBS clip. From near Paris, France.

Excellent video and sound ! Thanks for sharing this. This is one of the best bands around these days.
Wow, RFT had his red white and blue bass guitar back then. Glad to see the guys are great!!! Best Band ever
Good but not so. Ronnie Van Zant and Lynyrd Skynyrd were the best Southern Band ever born.

First time I saw them was about a month before this date. Seen them 19 times since, and haven't ever left the state to do it.
