I feel like re-arranging my music space, (which I'm currently doing) is like a snake shedding its skin. Growth and change are essential to art. It's part of the process. Good luck with the new setup.
it's definately a process. i might end up with elements from the old set up like the doepfer keyboard back in the system but not sure yet as this will take an additional audio interface--not ideal. we'll see how it goes. good luck with your re-arrange and thanks for watching.
What about a podium style stand with a two tier stand for the RYTM and A4. It's own station? It would take up minimal floor space, be elevated for more comfortable programming and much more accessible. I know you mentioned about not wanting to build anything right now but Amazon has 12"-24" ball bearing slide rails that can be attached to a flat surface that can then be pulled out and retracted. And after hearing your thoughts, I'm going to include casters on the bottom of all my work surfaces. My closets contain clear/labeled plastic tubs for organization likewise. The next phase of my studio project is to incorporate patchbays.
Very nice. I love the idea of the retractable surface. I had though of building a three tier rolling table with midi keyboard under the top shelf and the retractable surface could work great for that as well. I think you will love the patchbay workflow. It's like taking the modular synth concept to basically everything in your studio--fun and creative. Thanks for watching.
