It would be a super cool project to see an Olympic park be built, with high capacity transit connections and unique/massive buildings for the various sports.
I think a waterfall would just finish the temple mountain. Nice build

I've recently returned to CS1 myself. There is a solid foundation to CS2 with the road tools and new zones, but it feels like just that a foundation. Meanwhile CS1 is a fully built mansion with every amenity you could possibly want. Maybe one day CS2 will catch-up, but CS1 just allows us to flex our creativity so much further with all the expansions and CCPs.
These builds are hard to blend in but you did it flawlessly :D
Once again leaving my prayers for a vanilla series to have a doomsday themed town, maybe in the middle of the eggerglades park you mentioned, a bit isolated from society, with university housing maybe or vanilla caravans and the disaster shelters, a run down, culty vibe, plsss!
That intro cinematic was amazing! The stuff you come up with always blows my mind, very creative and well thought out. Since day 1 you've always said never just place something down and this is what you'll get by doing it, the best looking city!

Love to see some mountain top builds, and the view of the city is so great! If you're looking for ideas I think some housing with a mix of highrises and medium density could be great in the area right across the water from the airport island, could even diverge a new set of train tracks from the tracks that goes through Brooklyn and Quays to make a new branch of that line to serve them. And I reckon some Seaside Resorts buildings by the coast where you want to do the "Eggalades" would look good. Great build as always, and happy to see the series still going strong :)
I love all the temples in a Chicago-inspired build, I'm waiting for that Cathedral of Plentitude to be revealed in the city!
Awesome build! And the two fancy assets at the scientific post fit perfectly. There's one of these at every science place, and you know some "artist" that happens to be friend of a politician got paid for them, lol

The view from the temple at night is amazing
Nice build. I really like the mountaintop temple complex. The research station is good, too, but it does need a small amount of car parking for the scientists and maintenance crew stationed there. Can't wait to see what you do with the Eggerglades.
Loved these! I can see the Africa temple assets in the research facility being the entrance to the vast underground research labs. Its all so creative -so glad you did the Japanese temple.

Interesting build. I tried something like this in one of my cities and enjoyed it, but I didn't do the terraforming. I should've. This is much nicer than what I did just squeezing stuff in.
By the way, I loved that broken tree detail next to the office. Can't believe you demolished it 🤣

You should make it paved road for the temple top because if people are driving there then they could slip their vehicles and fall due to unpaved roads.
I think there should be a large ranch/cattle area out in the area you mentioned as being the ‘Everglades style’ area instead

Very impressive build, always surprised what you can accomplish in vanilla, especially with this amount of terrain fuckery. Although I do think a cable car up to the temple area would help draw in a bunch more people, would cut down the travel time massively!

Japan and Korea are historically enemies and there's still considerable tension between them. Id love to think that the combination of Japanese and Korean elements in the temple complex was the two Orchid Bay immigrant communities' attempt at reconciliation.

I'm a bit sad you steamrolled over that little peak about halfway to the temple. Could have meandered the road around it for extra spice! And there are a tad too many right angles at the temple complex for me, you could have put one of the park assets at a different angle and/or meandered the connecting pedestrian roads a bit. But it's still an extremely cute build ♥
why not add a cable car to the temple top mountain? would be a great addition imo. Ilke the cable car at vulcano teide in teneriffe
