For anyone else watching this, I struggled to get the file to show in FCP Titles and after searching other videos, I realized that the Titles folder needs to be typed as "Titles.localized" (don't add the quotations!) I feel like I need hands on help LOL every time I try any type of effect I run into SO many issues and I can never get past a few steps even though im following along funny im so frustrated
Great tutorial thanks!! What settings will you use if you wanted the text to remain fixed in the ground? To make it look like it is a real object in the ground. Thanks!!
What Tiles? Why when you make steps you zoom on the icon. I don't have Titles, so when you say go to tiles and you do something behind the screen is not very helpful
Could this be reversed? Instead of going toward the text, can we go through it backward? As if the drone was going backwards through letter O and shows the title?
So you mean to have the text 3D track and appear as your drone move backwards? You can do that with keyframes as well but I think you will need a plug-in if I understood correctly what you want to achieve the best way.
I used a similar third-party plug-in like this before and it was great. However, FCPX had an update on my Mac, and the effect was completely removed from my project before I was finished editing. Has this happened to anyone else?
You have to be really careful when updating FCPX while still working on videos. Often, new features are incompatible with old ones, or with the old version itself, and things can go horribly wrong. Best advice when updating is to wait until all projects are finished and/or back up everything so you can go back to the previous setup in Time Machine. (You can probably still go back in Time Machine and get things back.)
Thanks for the video Emilio! Can you help me with advice, I plan to work on macBook pro m1 8gb ram memory, is that enough to edit video in final cut pro x? The maximum length of the video I'm working on is 15 minutes, I mostly do simple things (I'm a beginner) such as: changing colors, stabilizing the recording from the phone, etc. Thanks in advance!
@@TheOddOnesChannel I mention that to the video. You copy and paste the folder into Movies - Motion Templates - Titles. Then you will see the Titles in the title section in FCPX.
Hi, i have downloaded the zip file. Moved everything inside the titles map. I see the title in section but then i drag it on my clip, there is nothing to inspect. It doesn't work. Sorry for disturbing you. ill be very thankful for your help.
No worries. You will open finder. If you don’t see movies in finder go to settings folders and activate the movies. Then motion templates - then titles and you paste them. ;)

You copy the folder in The Movies - Motion Templates - Titles. Then you will see it there. (Make sure also you have the latest FCPX it will help)
