Thanks for spelling it out for us, Torsten. 🙏💫 I have a better understanding now. My 1st Reiki teacher did a 180 about 15yrs ago. She renounced Reiki & took up vipassana meditation. I wasn't consciously aware of my own thoughts about this. I just remember thinking "What's up with her?" at the time. But then, a few years after her renouncement, I got a bee in my bonnet about upgrading my Reiki. I went to a new teacher who gave me the WHOLE syllabus. The "ryoho" part of the "Usui Reiki" system. I drank it in like nectar. Finally, after listening to this video of yours, I now realise that a part of me must have felt that she was breaking the Reiki lineage, & that I had to get a new one. I'm so glad I did! I now can trace my lineage directly back to Usui. Thank you Torsten for the insight. I believe I do what's best for me in any given moment, but I'm not always aware of "why" it's best for me. Your lineage comes from the person who attuned you, and the person who attuned them etc. Your teacher should know their lineage
