  • Join me on a road trip to the best Music Shop around. Best selection of Guitars and Amps in South Jersey and the Jersey shore.
One of the few Authorized Reverend Guitars and Mesa/Boogie Amp dealers anywhere around me. They also have a sister shop in Asbury Park, NJ with a big selection of Reverend Guitars including a shop exclusive! You can see on the video I shot there last year of a Greg Koch/Reverend Clinic. Seen on my channel.
Track in the background is me jamming to a UA-cam Backing Track. I don't own the rights to the track.

Look at all of those teles. Looks like they have plenty to choose from. Kudos on the pickups.

Thanks! They always have amazing guitars there. Sometimes ones I've never seen or heard of. Like the Cole Clarks!

I like getting tours of US music stores as it doesn't tend to affect my GAS. Living in the UK, I know I wouldn't be buying from that store and need to buy before anyone else has a chance to get it :D
I am hearing good things about the Fender bassbreaker and that set of PU's.
Neither of which I could bring myself to buy - I have an unapologetic dislike of anything 'Fender' - maybe it was because I was so pro-Gibson for many, many years...

Thanks for watching!! I am a "Fender" guy to the core. I've had just about every other brand of guitar and sold them off. Never had a Fender all tube amp though, so I'm going to trade in the Blackstar towards the 30R. I played the Bassbreaker 15 and was blown away by it.
Leaning hard towards the PRS SE, though. We've talked about that a lot, which isn't helping, LOL.

@@oldguysguitarvlog183 The Fender Amps are great - just have 'Fender' on them which really affects my decision. They are often great 'Pedal' amps too as they have great 'clean' channels. I like Blackstar HT5R 212 and would like to run my Marshall JVM410c a bit more but as I don't tend to play anywhere other than home, I can't really push it anymore.
I would say that I am now 'PRS' as all my Electrics are Core PRS guitars. Not a cheap hobby and does limit the amount of 'gear' I can acquire. I know some may well be happier to buy several new instruments, new amps and pedals for the price of one of my guitars and that is their choice.
Anyway, I am sure you will love the Bassbreaker and a PRS Custom 24 SE's are generally great at the Price point they are selling for. The nut sometimes needs a bit of attention (lube or replace) to improve the tuning stability but other than that, they are good instruments.

Hey!! Missed you last Sunday! Yea, but I ordered one today, LOL. Traded in the Blackstar and should get it by next weekend. Played the Bassbreaker 15, and was sold on that line. Demo and review as soon as I play around with it some.

Old Guy's Guitar Vlog I was at the Slash and Myles Kennedy gig. It didn’t disappoint. It was f*cking rockin. Get goose bumps every time. Just reinforces why he’s my guitar hero. \m/
