    That is a great place! The pavilion for adults and family events, the path with graffiti for teens, and the playground for kids. Plus history lessons for all. Pretty cool - thanks!

      I hadn't thought about it that way, but it's fun for all ages! LOL This was the first time I'd been there in at least 10 years, and the graffiti really has expanded!

      I'll be driving your direction soon! I was really hoping the leaves would have changed more before I went out there. The leaves are being weird this year.

    Wow. Beautiful place fir sure. Very neat park. I always enjoy watching different places. So tired of watching. Pigeon forge. So many people put those out. Lol train train very neat bridge. We got a historical bridge right down below the house. They build a new one. Left. The old one. If something happen they never find you lol ok Stay safe.

      It amazes me that this bridge is still being used considering how old it is. They don't make em like they used to do they? I know how you feel... I love Pigeon Forge, but there's a lot more to the world. I tend to like places that aren't as crowded. LOL

      There was a driving vid of yours I watched recently (can't remember if it was newer or an older one), and it surprised me how much it looked like parts of Kentucky. When I was driving out to High Bridge there were places that really reminded me of that vid of yours. I guess when it comes down to it, it's all the same mountains and hills really.

    You had to know I'd love this! I haven't been in several years.. Neither the caboose or the playground were there, last time I was. I always loved driving down there, to escape the big city😆

      I hadn't been out there since I went with Heather and Mason years ago. What killed me is Shakertown being right across the river and no quick way to get over there to it. We should all go roaming and vlogging sometime soon!

    That kabose would be a neat tiny home. That bridge reminded me of that scene on the The Lost Boys.

      Ooooh! That would be the perfect tiny home! It had more space inside that it looked like from the outside. I'd be willing to bet there's been a vampire or two hang out on that bridge over the years!

    You are just a KY traveling man these days😁 Really cool bridge...I like those old metal bridges😎 That train sounded so lonesome😔 That pavilion is very pretty. I understand why they are no longer there, but I miss the caboose on the backs of trains. Thanks again for the history lesson and showing such a neat area🐾🦊🐺

    • @TalesoftheTeknohillbilly

      I miss the cabooses too! Growing up, when we would hear the train coming we would take off to try and get to the train before the caboose went by so we could wave at the man in it. I'd love to walk across that bridge... but only if I knew for a fact there would be no train. I ain't trying to be Stand By Me. LOL

    Oh Lord that camera would've been a goner if I would have dropped it in the porta potty 🤣. That steering wheel is the brake on the kabose. How many people have bungee jumped from the bridge? Great video, stay safe 🙏

    • @TalesoftheTeknohillbilly
      @TalesoftheTeknohillbilly  3 роки тому +1

      The brake! That makes a lot of sense! LOL I saw my life flash before my eyes when I noticed my camera was falling for the potty hole. As horrible as it is to say, and I probably would've gone in after it!

      And not a paint huffer in sight! LOL Your comment made me think... as isolated and kinda strange as this place is, I've never heard even a peep of a ghost story about it. It sure seems like a good place for a haunting or something!
