In her position I would rather live with another nice single lady as a flat mate. This will save her money and give her some company. Living alone has no appeal to me personally.
I'm 57 and I love living alone. Can't imagine living with someone. But because of her financial situation I would prefer to bite the bullet and have a roommate for a year or two to be able to save money.
I like that as an option too. If I were in Angelica’s situation, it would be a good to try for a temporary time period to pay off debt then go back to living solo. So many good, reliable, hard working people are looking for a place to live and share rent. Works for both parties.
I love the variety of people and situations your show produces. Angelic has experienced trauma that would break almost anyone. She is a strong woman and getting all the help she needs. I’m wishing her all the best. Great job delicately addressing her needs Romain.❤❤❤
Omg here you girl. I woke up yrs ago, 3 children under 5 all his and I found on table. Basically the note read a whole lot of poor me (him) and god will take care of you have a nice life. All under 5 and my daughter had special needs as she has a chromosome disorder called Turners Sydrome which as a solo mum lived in and out of hospital for several years. ♥️♥️♥️ And keep strong sister
Romain, this interview was like rain (Rebekka) and sunshine (Agelic) with the last video. Angelic, I'm so sorry for your loss, but you are bouncing back to your life, maybe not all normal after finding your loved one expired, but knowing you have to move on in this thing we call life. Romain, Angelic listened!!!!! She took your advice, to the point of even going out and getting a job like you recommended. Angelic, YOU are going to make it!. Romain you are so kind. I'm sure your parents are proud of you.
Wow! What an amazing guest and great episode. She is so humble and down to earth. I am really enjoying this content. Romain gives really good, practical advice and I like how personable and sincere he is.
You were not joking when you said this video release would discuss a difficult situation. She's not much older then me and to think that she's managing that so young. Wow! She seems to be navigating an altered life well. I hope she has the support to continue doing so. Thank you for saying she is not too old to get back on track for an okay retirement. I beat myself up for not being in a better retirement position and it is good to know if I keep my foot on the pedal I have a chance to be okay by the time I decide to live abroad in my later years.
What a lovely lady, this was my favourite episode yet. As a 49 year old who is also behind, the advice from Romaine has inspired me to make some changes. I wish her lots of luck for the future xx
Romaine this was another great video. You did a great job of being compassionate and considerate towards what she’s been through, yet you were able to stay on task and give her the financial advice, support & direction that she needs. Angelic the trauma that you have endured and survived most people would not be able too. I’m sure you will be able to keep moving forward and you will eventually meet all of your financial goals. I’m praying that you continue to heal and increase your income and that you experience less trauma and more joy in your precious life.🙏🏾
My car insurance (I'm a 56 year-old woman) is only $60 per month with full coverage on a 2012 Honda CRV. The amount she is paying is insane and I'd change insurers.
Sadly it happens more than you think. I have a coworker that passed and sadly the at home mom has a large family. It will be a big adjustment for her. The good news is they had money saved. They should have money to ride out the adjustment.
Thank you Romain and Angelic for offering an informative and helpful video. Though, my finacial situation is different (and I am older 😃), I can relate to Angelic's experience. How I wish I had met a "Romain" when I was Angelic's age! Romain's suggestions are excellent; he is both practical and insightful. Angelic seems so lovely! She is refreshingly resilient, and I sense she will create a solid foundation for herself going forward. What makes this YT finance channel uniquie is the genuine respect and patience provided to each guest. Viewers can glean much knowledge if willing to listen to ideas that they may not have considered or had knowledge of. 👍😃👍
$40,000 or the equivalent to $40,000 is not a lot of money to live. I know she’s been through something traumatic but she didn’t save it all up until that point like the first 50 years of her life. She seems pretty passive, which hasn’t served her well
I am guilty of multiple baank accounts as well. I put my paychecks into Chase, but I use the other accounts to transfer into. So I do hope to retire by 72!
Keep finances separated but live separate too ? Like how any one live with anyone and have trust this won’t happen ? A pet will never do that my. Cat want to cuddle my dog want to play
I'm new to trading, and I've lost a good sum trying out strategies I found in online tutorials. I would sincerely appreciate any recommendations you have.
Trading takes about 10 years and 100k in losses to be good at. It's much easier to invest than trade and just buy the s&p index and as another person said, let time do the rest. Trading is as much about managing your emotions as it is having good "picks". That only comes with a lot of experience. If you are he!! bent on Trading, do it on paper first before you ever put any real money towards it.
I love the way Romaine is so calm. No yelling, no cursing. Very nice.
Thank you :)
Why would he yell or curse?

Best of luck to this sweet lady. She’s been through a lot but seems very resilient.

You can do this! I started over at 53 and I’m 64 now, and I retired 3 months ago. I have a wonderful, peaceful life. Time is still on your side.

She was such a great guest. Loved this episode of watching you help older people. I would come to show but am in Canada and can’t afford that cost ❤
Also I am really sorry for her loss. Such a terrible way to lose someone.
