Most of discussions online are about error 3E or 3E2, which vaguely states "motor error". Because manufacturers don't rly want for us to know how to fix their sh*t when it breaks after 2 years of normal use. But 3E1 error is described as "engine overload", which means it can't move freely for whatever reason and is drawing too much current. You could've skipped half of this video and just moved the drum with your hand, that's all it takes to check on the spider arm. PCB or brushless motor diagnostic, that's where the nightmare starts.
The drum moved freely and made no noticeable noise. My guess is inertia caused the cracks to expand and threw debris towards the outside to hinder movement when in a spin cycle.
@@MTBPlanB True, higher speed would mean the cracks would expand, the spider at this point could become completely off center and drum would start to "catch" the front seal or start scratching the plastic of the tub, causing the 3E1 error.
Hi Yuran, This code is likely similar to the 3e1 code. If you determine the PCB board and motor test good using the procedure in the video, then check the spider arm.
I have an 8E1 error code. However I replaced the vibration sensor and I’m still getting an 8E1 error code. I’m about to lose my mind!!! It’s been down for 5 months now. 🥴😵💫🤦🏻♀️ 🤯🤬😭 I replace the bearings and seal, the spider arm is in great condition I replaced the shocks, and now I’m still getting the 8E1 error code. Please if anyone can help I would be so grateful! 😊 Thank you Samsung WF56H9100ag/a2-00
It makes no sense to replace the spider arm and leave the old water seal and bearings. you already have them apart why not do a complete overhaul!!!!!!!!!
What other resolution advice can you offer for front load washers that throw a 3e1 fault code?

Thanks. Yes. I will first try troubleshooting and let you know.

Thank you Master
Master of none.
By the sound during spin, I can tell that at least one of the bearings are pretty bad and should have been replaced at the same time.
I'm getting this 3c2 error code when I try to put it in test mode, why is that?

I actually replaced the water seal. Bearing was fine. If it breaks again, I will toss it out the second story window!
