What's with all of the people that spend more to get a card graded than it's worth? Yaaaa I got a 10 now I can sell it for 20 bucks! Why do people keep doing this?
It often depends on both the player and the card itself. Certain cards can be very difficult to find when it comes to perfect centering, smooth edges and sharp corners. Even a common player card can command a premium if its population in gem mint condition is low.

@@FischerFan but the vast majority of times people spend more on the grading then the cards end up selling for. There are zillions of them on Ebay.
