Nice Video !!!!!!!Thank you Bill!! Not only for this Video, more for a new Hobby in my life!!! Only by watching ur Channel and the fascination of the Technik from Lock's!!!! THX Many greetings from Germany
Thumbs up regardless, Bill, of the fumbles. You are human! LOL The important thing is you successfully picked it. Because of your calm under pressure has made me enjoy lockpicking even more. Well done sir!.
Amazing lock PickME ! you really had Bill going there ! LOVE the wafer in there to stop that spring and wire from going through... man what a nice pin !
Bill, those needle tip stype are for circlips that have little holes in them, they go together very well. The ones without the hole are typically not very easy, as you've seen.
@bosnianbill What would be the best kit to start out with, i want to get into lockpicking and the art of it but im a bit confused on what picks to start with, hope you could help me out
lilpest A cheap lock like a master lock and maybe a good starter pick set like the TOOOL tremendous twelve or a sparrow tuxedo kit is what I started with. If you want a lock with lasting value look into the Ultimate adversary training lock.
E-rings are a pain as Bill indicated. The snap-ring pliers (both internal and external) work great on the appropriate snap-rings but I like those with replaceable jaws as they do bend as seen.
I had an idea for a "new" lock picking tool. Could you file down a key (or take any piece of thin metal) to shove into the bottom of the keyway to simply make a ledge that you can use with your pick for leverage. I know that some locks have keyways with warding that prevents you from getting a good angle. If you could fill the bottom of the keyway with material, especially by warding that slopes down, you can create a more convenient ledge to to pick from. I'm not a picker; I'm just a fan. What are your thoughts?
I have a whole set of snap on snap ring pliers (i used to work on transmissions) They are great. Only cost me my second born and something I signed in blood...
I have always wondered as person who do not open locks in free time ;p Isn't tha't threading (li ke for a screw) of a chamber much worse than few undercut rings, each in parallel plane, like on a serrated pin? I understand it's also harder to manufacture but given micro lathe it should be pretty easy.
I've got a Norwegian TrioVing Assa in my door.. Would you gut it and send it back, if I send it (with some Norwegian candy) your way? Great vids, and you got me hoocked. Don't know how, but you did get me to subscribe.. :D BTW It's Trolltunga, not Trolltuga.. ;) Sorry for my "English"
Please get the proper tool to remove the circlips........ it's sad watching a perfectly good set of ring pliers be destroyed. There is a link to the correct tool in the 1124 post.
Excellent picking my friend! Glad you enjoyed the Lockwood :-)
Hopefully everything else I sent reached you safe as well!
I presume a bottle of single malt?

Extendo Gem to the rescue. Awesome. Very cool challenge lock.

One lock to rule them all,
one lock to find them all,
one lock to bring them all,
and one to pick them all
Its a lord of locks Bill.
Good stuff, nice pins, and a good pick
Those cut outs in the core at pin #2 are for that spool from above to hang in the side cuts.
Dang bill , nice work!
Who does your opening scenes? Good stuff :p
If the bending keeps being a problem you might want to shorten those pins a little. If you're not going to use it for anything else it should help.
the new unpickable snail core is on the move....
Amazing lock, wow!
@bosnianbill What would be the best kit to start out with, i want to get into lockpicking and the art of it but im a bit confused on what picks to start with, hope you could help me out

lilpest check his review videos, he's done a few

The way you normally remove those circlips is pretty much the best way. If you spread them with pliers they tend to not work so well anymore.
these pliers are good for circlips with the little holes at each end
Any info on the music at the end?
It is computer generated music available from JukeDeck. It is called "Quizzical Approval".
your fpvs are stealing the show! cool spring loaded needle tho
10:55 That's either a very long pin, or a very short meter.
11:00, 1.3 meters long? 😯

John Mav nice idea but not new, a key filed this way is called a shotgun

They are great.

11:35 what planet is he on, never seen physics like this before .
Daniel H You mean the 1.3 metre spool that every lock has. Lol as well as the 6th or 4th spring
Who does your intros?
subs make them for him
handyandqu While that does partially answer the question, I was hoping a little more in depth.
Awesome vid

Thats a tough looking lock
Hopefully you were wearing safety squints during the gutting.

Nice lock
False or fault set?
TheMixmastamike1000 false
Maybe he thought that grind would give you a false set that you didn't recognize?
Told ya!!! Ya know like when Whil E Coyote painted a pic on canyon wall and roadrunner ran into the painting and got away? See. I told ya!
1.3 meter pin...god that's big.

As good as those knipex are they're designed for circlips with holes in, I can't see them being that beneficial for you.
*_Yo Bill, cut your nails!~ :P_*
NodMan Nails are needed...If you can't pick the lock open, you claw the fecker open.
Nice picking of the Lockwood cylinder. With regards to circlip removal tools you might care to look at eBay seller safehavensecurityshop.
