I use Lich King in a lot of meta decks but I am honestly starting to doubt the card. I feel like most of the death knight cards aren’t that great, and I seem to get the weaker death knight cards more often. Anyone else find this?
Most of his cards actually are good, there are only a few who aren't that great. You have some insane board clear, a huge weapon to get back the board, some healing and damages, a card to steal another card (this can solo win, against shuddershit or hadronox for instance), a huge buff for your minions, ... All those insane cards and the body which is quite good makes it good enough to be in almost all value decks and in quite some meta decks too
The only card of the 8 Lich King cards that is bad is Army of the Dead (Mainly due to how unreliable it is), and even then it can sometimes be useful. Doom Pact is situational, and all the other cards are great.
An 8/8 taunt for 8 mana is already relatively good, and it even generates card advantage. It is slow and really bad against aggressive decks like rogue or paladins with silence, but it's a great card in slower matchups where value matters. Also, interesting little tip about Doom Pact; it's insane if you play it after your deck is gone, the drawback doesn't happen. It's essentially a 5 mana twisting nether.
Captain Eggcellent It is amazing in incredibly long games, whan you don't have any more cards to burn. Also, as taunt druid once you get your combo off, you can destroy huge enemy board killing your hadronox(or cube) in the process, giving you another activator.
11:50 still should have played backstab and warpath before shadowstep, maybe you would have wanted to use the second shadowstep on a generated legendary. This sentence must read like utter madness to anyone not familiar with the game...
It sounds almost like a really complicated MtG turn. I haven't a clue how MtG works so it just sounds insane to me. Land tapping and adding stuff to 'The Stack' and counters and instants and relics and permanents... I vaguely know what's happening but it still sounds confusing.
Oh believe me, MtG turns can be much more complicated, but the point stands of course. The stack is actually quite easy to understand: it simply keeps track of all actions that interact with other actions, and they get resolved in the opposite order in which they were played. So the most recent action is performed first, the earliest one is performed last. A simple example: 1 Player A attacks with a creature, 2 Player B reacts to this by targeting the creature with a spell that would kill it, 3 Player A reacts to this by targeting the creature with a spell that makes it impossible for it to be targeted by future spells. First Player A's spell would be resolved, then Player B's. Since the creature by this point cannot be targeted by spells, B's spell would have no effect (fizzle out, it would still cost mana and be placed in the graveyard), and then the creature would attack. The stack is "only" important when effects interact with each other, and a player can easily construct elaborate stacks on his own. It is considered good form to give the opponent the opportunity to "answer" at every step though. It might be noted that the actions listed in my initial comment would not use the stack, since they don''t strictly depend on each other.
Zersetzor what legendary from rotface would you ever choose over a second tess here? The only legendary you could choose from rotface would be Tess herself. So sure, you *could* shadowstep a legendary, but you would always choose Tess and have the same result.
I miss this. 4 years later i still play cutlass thief rogue, but it s not the same anymore. Power creep has rendered most cards unplayable whilst my opponents play overpowered decks, and the new thief rogue cards are just not great in wild. Help
Is this a reupload? Swear I've seen the game before and videos seem to be removed from my playlists as they were deleted off YT (but theres no way to tell which ones)
Didn't matter. He would have to have a minion AND win the brawl AND heal/taunt (taunt technically doesn't matter because of obliterate but the warrior doesn't know that) to not die the next turn instead since crowley would clear the mosh and kibler would put him down to weapon range anyway.
Richard D warrior didn't have a win condition besides Elise packs and outlasting aggro. You can't play a control deck and have zero way to win a mirror reliably. I dont see a world where he beats any combo deck or value strategy since his deck is beyond slow and just dies to combo most likely.
Michael C probably not, but keleseth has always popped up in decks since he came out and I dont see that changing. Hes currently always in shuddershit shaman and happy zoo as well.
hahahaha funny joke man, you are a big silly billy man, did you come up wit that yourself? LOOOOOOOLLL very funny dude. Hahahaha still laughing bro EDIT: just remembered this joke. Still funny!
If you had bounced the Tess and Rotface back with shadowstep, you could had had 2 Rotfaces when you resummoned Rotface then Tess. All the toys! Turn - Play Tess, Get Rotface. Then Backstab Rot Then Warpath Then Shadowstep Tess and then Rotface.
Silverhawk100 depends. Too many warpaths and it just kills whatever pops out. 4 warpaths already would have killed most of his board since he kept getting weaker legendaries like pyros, voraxx, and his crowley.
I strongly recommend to put the cauldron in this deck. It helps to get class cards against rogues and there is a large amount of good shaman spells, especially unstable evolution is fun. I also play a more late game oriented version, which is worse against aggro and instead has lillian voss and furnacefire colossus in it to reroll bad spells and to get rid of annyoing weapons.
He generally climb to legend with hold decks (quest priest for instance) and then play fun decks after, what is totally honorable in a game where fun should be the main concern
tasos basiadimas what is so tilting about those decks ? I mean generally it brings quite some fun to both side and if you face them you will probably win so it's all good for you : winning and having a good time. Plus the rng is kind of the all point of hearthstone in comparison with some other card games such as MTG (this and the animations)
Ah, the old hadronox pickpocket rotface rogue
almost 3 years later and 13:08 is still one of the most satisfying things in HS. Next to probably Crush, and Flikk.
Those warpaths were harbingers, telling of the coming of our lord and savior, Rotface.
SummonTheNight the horsemen of the apocalypse
Now I know why they call you BM Kibler
BFFs Forever?? RIP in Peace?
Omg god
Gaspar Arroñade Big F*cking Friends forever
LUL out Loud
4:54 1 damage missed feelsbadman
WhyHelloThere Hahahahah
Maybe he did that on purpose>?
At first: "eugh warpath what could this possibly be good for"
End of video: "guys I'm so glad we got so many warpaths"
The title had rotface in it. We all knew what was coming.
Oh suddenly a Face collector isn't a troll card
How does someone as powerful as the Lich King lose to a tiny raptor?
Sheriff KYOGRE a "Nice little raptor"*
Sheriff KYOGRE RNG
Raptor is good boy.
She is a clever girl.
Killstealer
Tess and Rotface are why I watch Kibler. Both of them together is the dream
Kibler's on the warpath
"It's soo bored" xD the best comentary. Lol
this is why i watch kibler even though i stopped playing hearthstone
most fun pro streamer there is

Obilisk I’ve never found Doom Pact useful. Playing as a Taunt Druid for example just leaves you at risk of burning keys cards

7:24 Should've play the fire fly's between the chain gangs
7:03 That sounded like the Mario theme.
That kiss in the end. Satisfaction
What. A. Game! I love watching Tess games, I'm even considering dusting all the legendaries that I fail to use only to craft this deck.
i'm jealous. you've just made me reconsider my definition of 'sweet game'.
11:50 still should have played backstab and warpath before shadowstep, maybe you would have wanted to use the second shadowstep on a generated legendary. This sentence must read like utter madness to anyone not familiar with the game...

I became a master of the stack playing MTGO :P. It does the shit for you and playing any blue deck live Delver needs a lot of stack interaction
I didn't realize there were other colours than blue! Blue-black control/mill is the best!
Zersetzor what legendary from rotface would you ever choose over a second tess here? The only legendary you could choose from rotface would be Tess herself. So sure, you *could* shadowstep a legendary, but you would always choose Tess and have the same result.
Haha, that warrior was so salty at the end.
Jesus what a combo from Tess & Rotface
I miss this. 4 years later i still play cutlass thief rogue, but it s not the same anymore. Power creep has rendered most cards unplayable whilst my opponents play overpowered decks, and the new thief rogue cards are just not great in wild. Help

Excellent game brian!
Where’s warpath in the thumbnail? Real MVP.
6:10
Why he did not kill golden SI Agent?
John Smith Oh xd I have not noticed this. You're right.
Which deck do you prefer? The tempo or pickpocket variant?
8:07 Mike Donais opened Prince Liam!
Oof, get a load of that Garrosh salt 13:41

1:40 couldn't the opponent just double warpathed and swung instead of wasting a slam?
10:47 100% should have shadow stepped that 3/1
Man that game though, awesome !
BFFs Forever. Kibler 2018.
That looked like so much fun what a good game. I need this deck lol
"BM"Kibler FeelsGoodMan
That turned out to be a one-sided beatdown.
Richard D warrior didn't have a win condition besides Elise packs and outlasting aggro. You can't play a control deck and have zero way to win a mirror reliably. I dont see a world where he beats any combo deck or value strategy since his deck is beyond slow and just dies to combo most likely.
Im prescribing 50cc of WowHobbs to the guy talking smack about Lorewalker Cho at the beginning
A small missplay was, that he didn't shadowstep and replay the Pyros. Then Tess would have played a Pyros as well
Is Keleseth necessary for this deck? I don't really feel like crafting another Legendary this close to the new expansion.
Michael C probably not, but keleseth has always popped up in decks since he came out and I dont see that changing. Hes currently always in shuddershit shaman and happy zoo as well.
I Think you did a pretty god job so far
Wait. Is that a Dead by Daylight meme? Madness!
One could say that Kibler was on a Warpath.
Hmm misplay at the end. You forgot to cast another warpath to see what you can get from the rotface. Have even more fun xD
Last time I came this early my girlfriend was very disappointed
This joke is as old as you are early
ORIGINAL RECIPE
hahahaha funny joke man, you are a big silly billy man, did you come up wit that yourself? LOOOOOOOLLL very funny dude. Hahahaha still laughing bro EDIT: just remembered this joke. Still funny!
How much dust do I need for a GF? I don't have that card
David Nichol hahaha yes youre very punny
is face collector that good in this deck? it seems too meme-ey and can be replaced with other good cards
Every legendary you play from face collector , will be resummon by Tess . Thats why I guess
every that is not roque or neutral
this is just SWEEEEEET !!!
What a great match!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
astonishing
Should of used the last Warpath before you attacked at the end just to rub it in even more
Holy Light!
4:51 he could have smacked the warrior in the face then play cutlass
2:55 Come on Kibler
Nice scenario ! :D
That was comical.
Is this an alternate account? Where are all the golden cards?!?
Is that a reupload?
unreal indead!
So much meme overload :-P
If you had bounced the Tess and Rotface back with shadowstep, you could had had 2 Rotfaces when you resummoned Rotface then Tess. All the toys!
Turn - Play Tess, Get Rotface.
Then Backstab Rot
Then Warpath
Then Shadowstep Tess and then Rotface.
Note, I am not saying you misplayed, just that would have been a lot more fun.
Not much better impact, board's gonna be too full.
Or spent an empty turn doing nothing but warpathing so you could maximize Rotface triggers immediately when you tess.
Silverhawk100 depends. Too many warpaths and it just kills whatever pops out. 4 warpaths already would have killed most of his board since he kept getting weaker legendaries like pyros, voraxx, and his crowley.
Best game ever 😍😍
Epic face 9:19
Rogue and Warrior what could go wrong?
I love watching RNG cards, I hate playing with RNG cards :)
Kibler so handsome KAPPAPRIDE
Magnifique
Now I know why they call him "BM" Kibler
U N R E A L
Pickpocket rogue without pickpocket
jolie game ! :)
More rogue pleaseee
*finger wag*
Is this a reupload? Seems very similar to me, or is it deja vu.
TheDiamondIndustries // TDIDesigns He has gotten Rotface off of STOLEN! Rogue before, so you might be remembering that.
Finally a deck where i can use my golden furnacefire colossus.
Bffs for ever = Best friends for s*x for ever....nicee
13:16, Spoilers for Trump's next arena video
"Pickpocket rogue" without pickpocket huh?
xXMlgIlumminattiR3kt3rXx probably hand size issues. He was full on cards already without the draw 5 card.
Tessface4Ever
So Funny!
tess and rotface...i ship it XD
Warrior its such a clown class
😟👀
whoa
im 31 seconds late
Shame on you !
Not trying to underrate your skill or anything, but a lot of your legend rank opponents run non-optimized experimental decks just for luls.
Calvin Ye so is kibler, he has been playing overload shaman and Tess rogue which are very fun to watch and play but not very competitive
He generally climb to legend with hold decks (quest priest for instance) and then play fun decks after, what is totally honorable in a game where fun should be the main concern
1st
And that is why rng based decks at purely degenerate
It's not that strong usually
Kyle Netherwood that's why I say it's rng based it cannot win unless it hoghrolls like crazy which makes it a stupid deck
Thats a weird way to spell "incredibly fun and entertaining"
Tinil0 not when youre facing that amount of rng.......my point is not about the video its about the nature of such decks learn to read plz
tasos basiadimas what is so tilting about those decks ? I mean generally it brings quite some fun to both side and if you face them you will probably win so it's all good for you : winning and having a good time.
