'All the other stars', 'all the other so much work done'. Huge generalizations are usually the product of very small minds and generally lazy thinking. There are 'stars' on six continents and areas around them. And even in the U.S. & Europe the great majority of well-known actors are still very much 'recognizable'. For every Goldie Hawn or Mickey Rourke there's dozens of actors like Lesley Manville, Olivia Colman, Viola Davis, Kin Min-hee, Dianne Wiest, Jim Broadbent, Maggie Smith, Lily Gladstone, Edward James-Olmos, Juliette Binoche, Michelle Yeoh, and Julianne Moore who still look like themselves, just older than when they were 20-30 something.
Robin still looks fantastic!

Love this interview of Robin! It’s great. In other past interviews I saw her as too much private, uncomfortable, like she was not ready to share her true feelings because, as she says in this, she doesn’t like to be known. But here she seems so honest, calm and relaxed. She’s almost a 60 years old woman and she doesn’t care anymore if she says the right thing or not. I know she loves the movie ‘Pippa Lee’ but she’s aware that film was not a big success so she tells the interviewer nobody has seen this movie and there’s no need to talk about that. My point is that she’s so sincere here.

Robin has always been dismissive of Santa Barbara, when she should be grateful it put her on the map.
Well there are multiple possible reasons one might behave that way. It might be because she wasn't happy with parts of her experience or she felt she wasn't growing or her role wasn't what she wanted to be doing, feeling stuck, depressed and trapped and wanting to get out, tired of talking about her previous job when it didn't fulfill her. Maybe she didn't like how she was treated by her boss and was tired of having to comply to their demands and rules and just not interested in the storylines. Whatever the reason, I don't think she should be called out for not being grateful enough.
Life is complicated. She has her own feelings and has a right to how she feels. Many actors have to take on jobs they don't like to do to earn a living.
Princess Bride put her on the map
She got the Princess Bride part , so she took that and left SB, completelty reasonable. So yes, Princess Bride put her on the map..when i saw that movie i was like, 'thats Kelly!'

I was with Robin in Paris in 1983. I first saw her when she was 11 years old and was blown away at her ethereal beauty. Her brother was my sister's first boyfriend. I was 23 and a make up artist in Paris and Rob was modeling and we became great friends. We were at a cafe and Robin and I always talked like black girls from the South. I looked at her one day and said, "Ma Fren . . . YOU GONNA BE FAMOUS!" I became her psychic and Vedic Astrologer when I was 30 . . . and what a story that is . . .
Great questions but I feel he is star struck and questions drag out.
Love Robin. This “interviewer” on the other hand…? His snotty put down of soaps…? Sick of that kind of thing. Robin, by her own admission learned her craft on Santa Barbara and got paid really well for it. Not many people get a chance to go to college and get paid to do so. Also, reading four years of plot and condensing it into one line is hardly fair. But this guy did it for a cheap laugh. Soaps are hard work and there have been great moments on all of them. Not every day is golden, but not every movie or play is a winner either.
There is something genuine in her which makes her more beautiful .
She is a beautiful woman and I hope she doesn't go crazy on her face with plastic surgery like alot of people do. Age gracefully is best.
What a harrowing story that was of how she was carjacked in her own driveway w/her babies in tow!!! Incredible that she & her apparently very in tune child escaped what could easily have been a much worse nightmare!!!! So glad they made it through in one piece!! That is truly awful! God! I hate how money changes everything in this world - whether you have a lot or not enough - it just evil!!

And I absolutely loved The Secret Lives Of Pippa Lee...Its own of my favorites of Robin's..Funny, she doesnt think anyone had seen it..Ive watched it a few times...Starring (Aside from her the title role), Blake Lively as her younger self, Maria Bello, Allen Arkin, Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder...It was a really interesting story I really enjoyed, and Yes😂 (her cute reaction)❤Keanu Reeves always,always helps a movie be easier on the eyes!😊

Santa Barbara was a wonderful soap and she was great on it-- a cream puff with a core of steel. Robin gave the character nuance that her replacements eschewed.
