Dude, SRV is one of the masters of the flick...watch his right hand closely and you'll see it constantly. Especially the up flick and down relax. Pride & Joy is an obvious example
Thank you so much! That's really an awesome compliment...and it would be great to be "fast growing" haha. Thanks for the sub and I hope you like the content!
Thank you for creating this lesson. I can play fast cleanly at 120-130 bpm. I can tremolo pick 150 bpm for 10 seconds and can rep out 1 time 16th notes at 200 bpm. Could this lesson be applied for example 150 bpm 1 cycle 16ths, followed by "relaxed" 8th notes and then gradually build up? It's easier to apply 4 notes per beat than two when using metronome. My goal is to shift my overall speed of everything I can play with alternate picking right now by 30,40 bpm up to 150-170bpm.
Yes, that's definitely possible. I would also add in several other exercises to help build more fast-twitch muscles and the ability to immediately relax afterward.
unbelievable my man, many thanks and one of the best instructors on UA-cam. Extremely generous with your knowledge. Subscribed.

You're giving away the highly kept darkest secrets of guitar playing which they don't want you to know! Superb.
Excellent presentation and content. I can see a new fast growing guitar teaching channel in the making. New subscriber :)

Max, what guitar are you playing on this video?
It’s a custom made jumbo by a luthier named Dillion
great
Dude your guitar has no sound hole . Where does the sound come out ??
The flower design are little sound holes
Thank you Sir ! I came from playing violin. The F holes are very important. Is the sound better than ordinary circle sound holes ?
