Hey man! First of all, I really appreciate your work! It's honest, real and far from fetishizing the (algo) trading pitfalls.
I've been developing my own trading tools for a few months by my own and trying to weed out a few illusions I had (like refraining from using martin-gales and not relying on excessively leveraged positions). Recently I've taken up some academic publications to manage lateral markets when operating trends and I'd like to ask you this: have you considered applying some filter to measure those breakout trends? Something with standard deviation or market volatility?

Hey thanks for the kind comment :) Until now I did not really play around with filters a lot in this EA. Maybe it could be a nice addition. But I do not like to keep my strategies clean and easy. That is usually what worked best for me in the past. But you can play around with it and I would love to hear the result of your testing then.

Interesting, I'll test it today. The percentage lot size will give you exponential equity curve, either up or down. Hopefully the win rate is high. There are a few ways to filter out a ranging market, either the ADX indicator or the slope of a couple of EMAs.
I optimized it, USDSEK H1 looks good, 12% in a month, less than 4% drawdown.

Wil definitely give it a try. I noticed you are using IC Raw spreads account. Could you maybe do a video talking about why you chose a raw spread account over the standard? Have you done any extensive testing with significant volume to be able to tell if RAW is better for you?

Bro this is not how it works :D Any EA can make big profits if you increase the risk to a extreme level... And then it also depends on the market period and other factors. Unfortunately it is not that easy I think :O

What is the source code of only one trade per day(either buy or sell) because I copied your Bollinger Bands strategy however I do not know how to write that crucial piece of code for only one trade . Hey, I am glad you like the videos :) you can check out some of my tutorials. I often show how to process code only once per bar. You can use this logic with PERIOD_D1 bars.
I will incorporate the EA on 1min timeframe. Is there a problem with the code if i set PERIOD_D1 Bars? Because I will apply the EA on 1 min , but I want to take only one trade per day.
@@reisplakolli5627 unfortunately it does not work like this... If you use the PERIOD_D1 bars the EA will work on this timeframe no matter what the chart timeframe is. The function you are seeking for (only one trade per day) is not included..

Whenever your EA detects a new high or low, why would you not open a sell or buy position? When I watch your backtesting I'm thinking " if you buy that low it's jackpot! If you sell that high it's jackpot!" 😂😂😂
It might sound a little silly but what do you think?
There is always some delay until the highs and lows are detected by the EA :D Unfortunately it is not that easy :(

Hi. When I download the EA it works perfectly in back testing, but the moment I try to attach it to any real time chart, it tells me the advisor has an invalid license. Can you please advise me on how to fix this.

I have created a python script in MT5 but only I can able to drag and drop the python script to the charts to call it...I need to call that script from the MQL5 program...

Your bot not working. Confusing settings. Why don't you do it properly and show the settings that will allow this thing to earn money. You tell fairy tales about some settings that do not result in anything and only introduce chaos. This fil does nothing and it doesn't work.
