@@meatmuncher23yes, but the problem doesn't exactly lie with them, per se. Sony has been on a censorship spree for a while now, only allowing certain games to be violent, grotesque and/or graphic.
Baldur's Gate and The Last Of Us II are perfect examples of this hypocrisy: why are they allowed to show full frontal nudity and very graphic sex, when games like Stellar Blade, Senran Kagura and even Final Fantasy VII have to obey their draconian rules?

I haven't seen anyone say this but if you want to play new game plus without patch. Start new game plus with patch until the game saves. Then delete and install without the patch and just load the save. New game plus isn't in the menu but it works from what I can tell.
We can't even enjoy our video games in peace without these people messing with them.

@@ericcricket4877 You are playing right into their hand, you shouldn't let them feel comfortable censoring M rated games when other games have full nudity, it's way more petty to slightly censor a couple things like cover a bit of cleavage and cover a couple inches of butt and hipskin, why do these people have the moral authority to decide that the butt needs 1 inch more coverage when theres more extreme cases on nudity on the same console with the same M rating, they are deciding what is okay and what isnt without any consistency or reason, it's based on whether or not it fits their own personal taste or whether it triggers their own insecurity or not, fret not, this is a power move from sonys "ethics" department because they know they can do whatever they want #FreeStellarBlade

In Saints Row remake you can play with the character naked. Why they didn´t censor it too?

not really the game still has 99% super overly hot skins and only 2 skins were "censored" sony bamboozled us not shiftup the disc copy comes with these skins if you never update
Its a tough loss but it’s keeping v1 with 2 uncensored outfits vs fixed input lag, NG+, and extra costume recolor. I’m willing to lose 2 outfits’ cleavage for the latter, though I hope it gets enough outrage for them to revert it back.
That’s where I’m at. I want the DLC costumes. I did sign the petition though.
Maybe find real cleavage. It's out there.
I do my research here's what I found
- If you have a disc version. You can rollback ur game into v.1000 by uninstall and re-install again without the internet connection on PS5
- Censors get messed with 2-3 costumes am exactly sure about the numbers.
- But... If you decide to play with v.1000 with uncensored. You will lose new costume from the new patch v.1002
- I saw there's are total 74 costume in the v.1002 but you will get only 59 if you playing on v.1000
So, You have to choose wisely what you really need lol BTW I'm a bit frustrating. Because the censored totally ruined both costumes in this vid.
Her udders are really unnaturally large for that tiny frame. I suspect she too has been patched with some kind of upgraded version.

Please explain, why graffiti was censored? There was 'hard' word, i dont understand why, btw i like more updated version of bandage cosume xD, but bunny outfit got nerfed hard. On pc release i am pretty sure that modders can rollback thoose changes back

They've censored costumes even before launch on disc the Chinese dress looks different and doesn't have stockings in the outfit tutorial video however both the pre patch and post patch have the leggings
I've spent 6 hours playing and I can't wait to start playing again. Due to false advertising, I requested a refund from Sony.
If I get the refund, I'll buy the physical game and enjoy it as intended until I'm ready for NG+.

Based on what the developers said, they weren't finished. Looking back, yeah they do look unfinished. The underlying lacing goes up her torso and then suddenly gets cut off beneath her ribcage??

The changes are in my opinion minor so I can live with them, but in its principle they're wrong, yes. A lot of people demand to boycott the whole game cause of censorship, but this allows the critics of Stellar Blade to win this war. So keep playing the game, even with or without the patch!

It's such a weird choice considering the now "censored" version, If you can even call it that, still doesn't leave much for the imagination.
So it's only the 2 outfits? I was under the impression it was a lot more than that. I wouldn't be surprised if this was only the final round of censoring before release. I'd imagine shift up and sony went back and forth on it for a while before the game came out. There's other outfits that look like they may have been adjusted or added to at some point but are the same in both 1.0 and the update.
There is now a third outfit that has been discovered to be censored. I'm playing the uncensored version on disc and I compared things to the censored version and the Blue Bikini (The Blue Monsoon) has been severely censored. It looks the same at first, but they 100% added more cloth to the bottom, especially between the legs.

Because people think the close proximity of the "Hard" graffiti with the "R Shop" is a refence to "hard r". ShiftUp didnt mean to include stuff like that, so theyre changing it

I think I know what exactly the problem with the bunny outfit is and why it was changed. It's definitely about the high cut of the bunny suit and the fact that it looks like this area is particularly wet on Eve, by covering this area you can't see much of it anymore... but the solution to this problem is simply poorly done... the solution would have been to put dark tights on her and add a slider to switch the tights on or off...so everyone would have something out of it. Similar to the Orca Engeneer outfit, it has a similar cut in the leg area and exactly because of this High cut, Eve also wears tights underneath and it still looks good. So why wasn't a similar principle applied to the bunny outfit? The Asian region is known to have certain preferences for swimsuits, bodysuits, leotards and tights underneath. I would have preferred that to Eve wearing big panties under her suit, which makes absolutely no sense... what woman would do something like that and so that it doesn't look too strange they also covered her cleavage. It looks strange and significantly detracts from the original appearance. it was simply solved incorrectly!

Is it Sony fault ? sadly don't have a ps5, but i would be even more angry if i had one and that i have a games with outfit that changed between the preview and the end result.. (if the changed was good, i would be happy but its straight up downgrade)

I don't get this. Anyone play a little game called Cyberpunk 2077? You create your own character down to the...privates. Your female V can run around topless (seen in photo mode). Why would cleavage, blood splatter, and one instance of graffiti be censored when you have all-out everything in games like that?
