Hi Jamie, thanks for this video - got a glimpse of what to expect around Beijing when I head there! Just curious which app you used for maps/navigating your way around? I'm from the U.S. and have ran into research saying Google Maps will be useless there. Thanks!
Hello! Thanks for watching! We used Baidu and Apple Maps ☺️
Very nice video.
Thank you! 😊
I love China!! ❤❤❤
I can't wait until I can travel there again! Thank you so much for watching :)
cool video
Thx for watching!

Thanks so much!😊
Woohoo- you did fantastic pitcure-✨
Thanks so much! ☺️
Great video! Tell me something: do you think it is absolutely necessary for us foreigners (I''m Brazilian ) to download WeChat? ( I intend to put a VPN on my phone)
thank you for watching!! Hmm, it was absolutely necessary for my husband and I because that's how we communicated with Ke's family (we would message, call on WeChat) and my husband also used WeChat to pay for everything! He also used his WeChat to connect to his Didi and made payments through WeChat again. But if you're able to pay through something else like AliPay then you might not need it! and if you dont need to contact/message anyone through WeChat then it might not be necessary for you
It's very necessary. Everyone in China is using it.
Aw man, I just came back from Shanghai, sadly I didn't visit Beijing this time... =[
Aw so cool that you visited Shanghai though :) I hope to visit Shanghai next time I’m in China!
Great video, would love to visit China too. May I know what month you went to China?
Thanks so much for watching ☺️ We visited China in September!
Nice video
Thank you!!
what is the peking duck restaurant and shopping mall called? :D
this is the Peking Duck restaurant address 南池子大街11号四季民福烤鸭店 and the shopping mall is called Wangfu Central! :)
Nice video. Your China vlog is mentioned by some overseas chinese youtuber recently. Hopefully to receive more likes and subscribers 🎉
Thank you! And wow! Do you mind letting me know who?
what's the name of the peking duck restaurant ?

Thank you! 😊
Love from Bangladesh ❤
thank you for watching!
I hope you don't mind me asking, but around how much did this whole trip cost you in AUD? Would just like to get a rough idea of how much I could expect to spend if I end up visiting China one day 😊
3000-10000AUD
depends on what you want to enjoy in your trip, it could be very down to earth prices or rocket high.
hello! thanks for asking :) my flight to China (round trip) was around $1.4k AUD - as for accommodation - we stayed with family the whole time so I'm sorry I can't help there! food was also a real mix, some dishes we had were very expensive (e.g. $80 AUD per person for hot pot) compared to super cheap like $6 AUD for a bowl of noodles! so in terms of discretionary spending, depending on where you go, I feel like it's achievable to work within your budget. Sorry I couldn't be more help!
it is bit like asking you much will spend for visiting Europe, depending how many provinces you want visit.

Couldn’t think of anywhere worse to go
Then don’t travel there, Debbie. What an unnecessary comment

Wow.. I’m wondering how you manage finance to do some overseas trips, wedding, house in a year 😮
I didn't do all of this in a year haha i got married last year :) but i share a lot about how i manage my money and budget - here's my playlist of finance videos if you're interested ua-cam.com/play/PLLVAe9z1PhPhkyb9BTUQN8XWCoME4CQpa.html&si=2q-XRbQN1t6vA3JH

Wangfujing is the most boring place in Beijing. There are so many big malls in other districts of Beijing, much modern, much big, much designed, much fun than wangfujing.
Maybe boring to you haha but not boring to me, still enjoyed exploring that area
I know. I been WangFuJing, and quite frankly I could have been in London or New York or something.
This was so short you hardly got a feel for the city ill try another vlog .
I made three Beijing vlogs as my community likes ten minute vlogs, Janette.
Hong Kong country tropical
China is not a normal tourist place.
As tourist to visit China, it's absolutely ok. Just like some people also go to Cambodia, Burma, Gaza, Afghanistan, Africa, North Korea, Russia.
In other country, like Qin Gang, the foreign minister of China, won't be forced to suicide just because he secretly had a new baby born in USA. Now, all people related to him including that baby are disappeared forever and no explanation from the govt.
An ordinary citizen in Beijing, 彭立发, he could be caught by the police and disappeared forever only because he put a protest banner on the bridge.
And the plane crash China Eastern Airlines Flight 5735 could be covered up without investigation.
Over 150 hong kong people, some are legislative council member, lawyers, professors, students in university were taken into prison without trial for over 3 years and continue on. They didn't hurt or damage anything in year 2019. It's just because their thoughts are against China.
At least 2 hong kong people in prison were forced to show on TV to say China govt is absolutely right.
Please read "European Union message to China on human rights day" before going to China.

i absolutely loved visiting China - i can't wait to return again. Thank you for watching!
