I think for civs that are already building church, Italy, Otto, sometimes Malta, sometimes France, totally go for it. Or against an age 2 opponent that lacks goon
do we really waste 15 fucking naginatas on 2 falconets? thats pretty much 25 ashigarus or 30 yumis cost and all you need to do is use staggered position to get into a fight
I'm not sold. It's part of Spain's identity - having war dogs. For every civ to have access to that kind of unit would be a blow to Spain lovers. It's possible to send cards allowing explorers to train lion, tigers etc.

fantastic game, hard matchup for japan but tbh very impressive that chis got his timings/units out and his build order was so crisp

They need to make every euro civ have dogs, asian civ tigers, african civs lions, all same stats, then its not a problem
