Hell yeah man I just ran to the U-Pull and grabbed one. Swapped it all over and it turned it off! So if anyone is wondering there is no programming I just replaced it with a used one from another! Thank you man great video
Very good info Cisneros. Will the donor (replacement) FDCM need to have the P73 update done to it? How do you check to see if it has been done? DO these FDCM's have the original cars VIN listed on it anywhere? If so, you can look up the FDCM update status on the Chrysler recall VIN lookup page. Thanks for your help.

Gracias por el video tenía over temp en la pantalla y había reemplazado pcm, termostato, anti congelante aceite, motor de arranque, sensor de temperatura y nada me resolvió el problema hasta que vi este video le di unos golpecitos al tcm y resetie con un scaner y se solucionó.
En mi caso, falla solo en ocasiones pero marca Mantenimiento a 4wd y se me apaga la camioneta, desconecto la batería unos minutos y arranca de nuevo, cada ves lo hace más seguido. Crees que reemplazando ese módulo se solucione mi problema? Saludos amigo!
Buenas, me aparecio el mismo mensaje de 4wd service, he probado sacar por un par de minutos el fusible en la caja del motor, se borra el 4wd service pero luego de un rato andando vuelve. Mi 4wd trabaja sin problema, si coloco NEUTRAL y realizo el acople, lo hace, no tengo fallas en ese aspecto, pero siempre tengo el mensaje en el tablero con el 4wd service. Que cree que sea?, si reemplazo el modulo se soluciona?, o se puede reprogramar el modulo y resetear?
Do you happen to know where the transmission control module is located? The one you said was the seat memory is actually for the park assist system. And it looks another like the TCM.
For the 4×4 system service You have to reach more towards the center almost in the middle of the seat and the seat memories modules they're to the left and right as you can see on the video and if you're looking for the Transmission module that it's located in the engine bay.
@@zorroacmxli is the power train control module the same as the transmission control module. The only thing I can find is on the passenger side fender behind the coolant resivour

Depending on the yr... you could reset the final drive by removing fuse ... start the truck. . Drive 20 ft forward then 20 ft backwards. .. shut it off ..replace fuse .. then start back up. .. might take a couple of times but this resets the final drive system !

A recycle yard as long as vin numbers match up ..do it. .. a shop will bleed you dry.... DIY save as much as possible. .. don't get ripped off for a simple fix.. !!!

Si funciona es el mismo systema inclusive si el numero de parte no concida con el original en su Cherokee y en la suya esta abajo del asiento derecho. Saludos!
I'm guessing you have the same problem.. buy a rebuilt drive train ECM from ARES. I changed fluid and filter changed out my trans cooler and battery and tried every trick UA-cam had to offer.. the one that did it was that. Finally after two weeks has not stalled once yet. The great thing about UA-cam community is it keeps our vehicles running without giving up and trading them off when it's something simple. Although it is 500$ if it's the hemi.

Hay un truco cuando le comiensa el problema le quita el fusible numero 10 y la camina para atras y para adelante por 5 minutos por ahi esta un video de otra persona y le funcionó, pero si ya lo tiene hace mucho va a tener que cambiar el modulo abajo del asiento segundo como en mi video suerte Bro saludos!
Nada que ver esa pieza solo es para desplegar en el tablero cuando esta usando el sistema 4X4. Si la trasmision no cambia puedes que sea los sensores, (lleva 4) ocupa cambio de filtros y aceite o el Selenoide que va dentro o el peor de los casos la trasmision. Tambien a veces no cambian por que el bushing que detiene el filtro grande se cae y agarra aire eso pasa cuando le cambian el filtro y solo se lo ponen en el cuello del filtro y ese bushing va en la abertura donde entra el cuello del filtro grande y entra a presion. Por su descripcion no es el transfer ya que sigue despues de que lo remplasaron pienso que es un valero de la transmision que esta desgantando y pronto va a necesitar cambiarse, pero primero chequen la flecha cardan (drive shaft) que va del diferencial a la transmision cusndo las crusetas (crossjoints) se danan zunban asi Saludos
@@belindabernal8593 Eso puede ser el modulo de encendido remoto o el relay del starter (motor de arranque) que va junto a los fusibles en el area del motor bajo el cofre.

I had a 2005 4.7 jeep grand Cherokee. I believe you can grab the same part from a Commander if you can't find a grand Cherokee at the junk yard.

Es un relay de encendido va atras del switch pero para estar seguro pongale un scanner

I picked up one at a local lkq yesterday and the same as before, no 4 low. I am assuming that this one is bad also, or could it be something else?

Nope it was just the sign on the dash board, you had another issue look on the cruise control area.
I think the loss of cruise control was a pre n23 software update issue
