CL is unlike anyone. Her entertainment ability is a true gem and only something one can be born with to enhance and polish later on in life. She is exceptionally mesmerizing to watch. All the 2NE1 members had different things to bring to the table that made them so impactful. YG will never be able to produce any group or artist in the same league as 2NE1.

I see your point but PSY's success was something that no-one actually saw coming. He didn't prepared a single for the international market, he just became famous for some reason I don't know. CL, however is going to debut in the USA and the English is kinda a must. Don't get me wrong, this song is perfect the way it is but it scares me a bit that if she is going to promote this song, people will reject it just because it's in korean. You know that non K-Popers are a little bit judgemental with K-Pop, specially because of the language :/ I just want everything to be perfect for CL, I love her so much.

***** Well I cant speak for other groups, but have you not heard of BTS ? Im sorry but those boys deserve more recognition than that. They take part in writing/producing their music, look up the song Tomorrow and Let Me Know by them, Suga wrote them and they have deep meanings. Most of them take part in producing, the rap line and even including the vocal line. Not to mention they all can rap& sing amazingly well. So calling them manufacturered I think is unfair to say. Im not saying Kpop isnt manufactured, some groups are some arent just like American Pop. But I dont see American artists putting as much effort into their music and time for their fans as kpop artists, or being a triple like them being able to sing, rap, and dance exceptionally well, please name a group or singer in America that can do all three of these things. Please because I cant find one. And from what I can tell most kpop artists sound identical live to the studio version, on top of them dancing along with singing which is difficult to do. Kpop is manufactured in some ways, but Im saying that it isnt as washed out as American pop has become, they work and train much harder and have a lot of talent.
This is much much better than her olympics performance. From styling to the performance as a whole. Nothing can ever top this legendary video.

Frankly speaking I imagine it’s cuz most female idols these days physically don’t have the energy for it. And even if they did, I don’t see the passion. I’d go so far as to say no other girl group has ever managed to shine or perform the way 2ne1 did. Mamamoo is probably the closest girl group to sharing 2ne1’s vibe, but no one comes close to the magic of CL
CL treats every performance, despite of location and events, like it's her last and it is incomparable! I mean, everything is die for and you will never get bored of her stages!✨✨✨✨

YG compagny raises artists while other compagnies raises idols.. basically that's the difference, that's why YG artists are more dependant and passionate about their music and performances! Instead of promoting an image or a concept, they promote music and that's why I'm a YG stan!

I feel that after CL kpop was never the same, it's hard to say that someone has reached the same level as her, that someone has the same stage presence as this woman, the same power!! She is UNIQUE and UNPARALLELED, I would honestly say she is the most complete artist I have ever seen, she sings, dances, composes, produces, and on top of that, she has a surreal stage presence, she was simply born to be an artist.
It's been almost ten years since this performance and I've never seen anyone dominate the stage as well as her, no one can surpass what CL and 2NE1 were for kpop, no one has ever been on the same level as this woman!!
