- On Sunday night we got a call about one of Quinn’s horses that was stuck in the cattle guard in Colorado an hour and 45 minutes away from where we were. We loaded up and worked all night at getting him out. Go watch the rescue process!

Eugenia, that's also my name, I-don't see that often! My mother's name was also Eugenia. My google name is Anglophile, which means one who loves everything English. But google messed it up and put AngloPhil, making me sound like a man, which I'm not. I live in NC, where do you live?
My sister's 11-year-old Palamino gelding spooked and ran through a wooden fence impaling himself. It took 2 vets and a vet tech several hours to get the piece of wood out of his neck. He just missed both branches of his jugular vein. I am happy to report he is completely healed, which took a long time. Horses are so resilient. Glad yours had a happy ending also.
Glad he’s okay!
The way he neighed when he saw all of you coming
broke my heart
He knew rescue was coming
The way he whinnied when he saw his people coming to rescue him was just so sweet and so heartbreaking. Hope he's going to be okay, and hope that awful cattle guard, whatever it is, gets ripped out and tossed.
His “you’re here!!!” call! He knew you were there to rescue him!
I know! That literally made me cry!
I protest cattle guard please place a gate. Thank you for helping this beautiful horse ❤
AGREE 100% THEY'RE CRUEL AND NOT NECESSARY!!! GET GATES
I had to literally skip to the end to make sure it survived the incident. I am just too emotional with animals. Whew! And BLESS YOU 🙏🏽❤️🩹
Same here 😊
Did exactly the same thing 😊
Same!!! I can't wait either....it's torture for me, and yet I keep watching the videos just because I love the happy endings and knowing that there's tremendous human beings in this world!! ❤
Ugh, the way he whinnied at the beginning made me burst into tears haha. Im so glad yall helped him, it was great how much happier he seemed once y'all helped him.
We built our cattle guards of 4" pipes laying in stirrups that were welded to the rails below. The pipes were free in the stirrups. The pipes could be removed individually. The design saved more than one curios calf. Good rescue. Thanks for sharing. 👍👍🇺🇲
Its honesty just disappointing how society is so blind to any danger that could be a huge threat to animals. That poor horse is lucky to have no broken bones. So sad and disappointed to see him in this state. God, one day just one day will society see whats around them for once.
My heart breaks when the horse whinnies out to the people as if “oh. Thank goodness! I’m here! Help!”
Thank you for saying 99% of horses do not come out of cattle guards because while you were working on the guard and horse all I could think of was 40, 50 years ago the horse would have been shot, put down. That was the way and that was it.
Thank you for your hard work and saving the animal 💯
That poor horse. Those guys did a great job getting the horse out of there
Thank you One and All for everything you did to help this horse. ❤
CATTLE GUARDS SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED IN OUR COUNTRY!!!!!!!! They are horrible for ANY animal - how sad 😔
So glad these AMAZING men helped this beautiful horse…I loved how the horse called to them when they first approached him ❤️❤️😇❤️❤️
I disagree that ANYONE would think you need cattle guards…nope nope nope they don’t serve a purpose…humans are lazy to open/shut their gates…😢
"Down to the bone" made me wince. Thank God for Granulated Tissue and a good Vet!
What a beautiful and well mannered roan gelding - hope he makes a full recovery.
Bullet is an absolutely beautiful horse. I hope he heals up well and you guys did a fantastic job getting him out of that cattleguard.❤
I would so much love to hear about Buletts recovery! I pray to the Lord for everything turning out good 🙏❤😢 ! Thanks for all the helping hands for this dear horse ❤🙏
Bullet ❤🙏
......cattle guards are torture traps ! 😢
We had one get in a cattle guard it started out good but the thrashed and you could hear bones breaking. We immediately put him down. It was aweful. I am so glad yours went so well. He is beat up but will heal. He sure is a nice colt.
The whinny he gave when you walked up!! Poor babe!!
Cattle guards are dangerous..I found one on my new property when I moved and I had it removed before I got my Shires.
Love that welcoming whinny when he saw y’all pulling up! He knew the Cavalry had arrived. Great work keeping him calm (sedated) and quickly and safely extracting him. Hope he has a full recovery physically and psychologically. Great job by all!
Absolute miracle no major damage happened. Lucky horse!
Awww, his little whinny when you came up to him, breaks my heart! Fantastic work, gentlemen! And I know he's drugged up, but he was still very well behaved considering the grinders and saws-all and whatnot.
I can't believe you saved that horse. Thank you for the rescue.
Thank you to all of the rescue team. You stayed the course and got him out. I hope he recovers from that. His legs were pretty beat up. Again, thank you. Blessings on all of you.
I will NEVER unsee what the ‘cattle guard’ did to this Horse…there must be a safer way!
yeah a gate, just that some lazy people don't like having to get out of their vehicles to open/close them.
Wow. That was terrifying. And so glad he's out and walking. Great job guys.
The horse has only some cuts and scrapes. Amazing, no broken bones or tendons. It's going to take a couple of months to heal. As long as you can keep infection away.
The horse was smart enough to know he needed help, and didn't fight to much. This could have ended very badly.
Hope he heals up fast.
Get well little doggie. Even though your a beautiful horse. Glad your bones didn’t break
That is 100% amazing he didnt thrash too much and damage his tendons. Thats all thats down there really.. skin, bone, veins, tendons, and ligaments. Im glad he didnt sustain life ending tendon damage i hope hes able to heal. Thats the next hurdle, the blood flow down thete isnt good and the skin is so tight that stitches dont generally hold well. Hes not out of the woods but im so glad to hear he didnt damage tendons, ligaments, or bone!!
The cattle guard looks like a death trap for any animal!
Well done to the rescuers! 🙏
It is a death trap
Cattleguards are so horrible, but I'm glad this sweet baby will be okay.
Thank you all for helping this majestic, beautiful soul. 👏👏👏👏💜💜💜
It was a rough night but I sure appreciate all that Shawn and Trason did to help us out
Good work guys
That cattle guard seems to be awfully wide from others I've seen, the rails should be closer together even cattle could get a hoof stuck in those, I'm so glad you all were able to help that poor boy out and it's amazing more damage wasn't done to his legs, good trusting horse there!❤🤝
He sure was happy to see you guys coming to rescue him! Great Job getting him out of that cattle gaurd. Truly a team effort! Hope he heals OK! Poor boy! I would be sick to my stomach seeing that!
God looked after all of you and this horse!
It broke my heart to hear him nicker at you when you showed up. He was in a bad way and he sure was relieved to see help coming.
Not a call you want to get is right!! Just the other day we got a call that a horse was stuck under a tractor in a tunnel the other day 🤦🏻♀ I won't name the horse- everyone knows who he is, lol. Sedating drugs were a lifesaver in our situation too- he left the scene with barely a scratch! Also this week we had a different horse take a wrong step AT A WALK and had a major tendon injury and had to be put down- these horses are so tough, yet so fragile! Glad to see Quinn's boy standing! 🙌🏼
Well done, folks. So lucky he was as calm as he was. Kudosto all!
🆘 🐎 POOR BEAUTIFUL HORSE 😭 🐎 DANGEROUS BRIDGE MADE FOR STUPID 😞 BAD 😔 PEOPLE FOR ANIMALS 🆘HORSES WERE ALWAYS GREAT FRIENDS ♥️🐎♥️ALWAYS HELP HORSES AND LOVE THEM ♥️
You should reach out to local welders and find out if any of them have a gouger and the ability to do mobile gouging. It's an extremely fast way of cutting steel that causes the steel bar to heat up as little as possible. This can be handy if you ever have to do another animal rescue that requires cutting metal to get the animal out. If the welder will agree to take this rig mobile for the rescue it can save hours of time and change the outcome for the better.
God I'm so happy he had no broken bones but my God those legs they are terrifying to look at aren't they? God bless you guys for taking care of him so well. And it's amazing how gentle he seeing even though he's in so much pain! What a good boy!
I hate watching videos like this bc it’s so heart wrenching. I watch to support the good work of angels like you.
God love our big dummies. It's amazing the ways they find to hurt themselves.
Poor baby… must have been so scared and in pain 😔😢
I hope he has a full recovery and is sound. Well done to all involved in the all night rescue! xOx
This horse trusted those people and remained calm wow what a beautiful horse it didnt have anymore energy
A big thank you to all who rallied round to help the horse xxxxxxx❤❤
Thank you Jesus and to the rescuers who helped save this horse. Hi, I am Angie from eastern North Carolina but live in Colorado now. So happy to have come across this video. Hope everyone has a Safe, Blessed and Wonderful Sunday evening...❤😊🐴🐎🐴😊❤
It would have been thoughtful to give the horse some water and to have someone stand at his head to talk to him and reassure him. Poor horse was a trooper.
Bless you all,you are all so wonderful to be there for this horse. It's great to know there are people out there like you all!!!
So thankful that he is okay! I hope he makes a quick recovery. ❤
I’m so glad you got him out!
Cattle grates should be illegal!
A gate would be just as effective without the possibility of injuring animals.
People are so worried about “their” properties, they don’t consider the damage these cause.
We got those all over Iceland and hardly ever a horse gets stuck in them. This horse must have been scared or saw it too late or pushed on it, most will stop or eventualy try to jump over. But yes I agree the damage they can do is horrible, most will not live to survive being stuck in one.
@AnnaMaria-zm8cv it was one of the guys horses and also thier cattle guard
It was good to see the horse on his feet
He is a beautiful red roan. I am glad he had enough training to wait for people and not panick.
Yes
He has no choice.
@spookshow6999 Oh, he had a choice, he absolutely could have panicked and broke something like a leg.
@wewendela He was drugged though, so he kinda didn’t have a choice 😂
@@cerealkiller1031 before the humans found him
Beautiful well behaved critter. What a good boy
Danke für diese Rettung 🙏, ihr seid einfach wunderbare Menschen, schön das es euch gibt 👍. Alles Liebe und Gute für euch 🫶🐾
Glad you all were able to rescue the horse and he didn't have any broken bones. Blessings!
Amazing that horse did not break a leg in thrashing to escape
Amen. beautiful horse. thank you for all ur hard work and love.
Oh! That poor baby! So thankful he will be ok!
5:10 the horse looking as the man explains what they are about to do. OMG 😍😂
Thank God, bless you all!
So glad you were available to help him! I loved how he responded when he saw you coming!
❤ Lord bless you guys and prayers for that beautiful boy horse.❤
What a fabulous horse. Talking to you guys when you pulled up and calm and quiet with the vet. Bravo! Great job!
prayers for a full recovery and thank you to those wonderful men who got him out.
Cattle guards are hell for horses
And cows
Death
That poor horse...but SOOOO GLAD he has no broken legs or torn tendons. Truly a miracle....and much thanks for doing such an amazing job helping him.
This is the saddest situation but if you guys were not there he could have not made it. Round of applause button
Wow! I was on the edge of my seat for this one!
Relief is an understatement!!!
Poor horse, he was stuck for a very long time.
" That was a bad deal" well said
Praising God for saving his life with the help of that crew of angels! Great job🙏👆🏼🙏
I lived in rural Ireland and I've seen cattle grids, but not like this. The ones I've seen were literally( I'm not even remotely an expert) like rolling ( or ones that didn't roll) cylinders that is hard to walk on, no gaps between them for ANY animal or human to get trapped in they are just incredibly off-putting especially for hoofed animals, worse case the animal will fall, which I know can be dangerous, but this here looks f**King barbaric... Jesus that's horrible...
So glad it all worked out beautiful horse. Great job to all.
Thank You Jesus.
that must be one of the rarest saves ever.... so very glad he has a chance to keep livin, and that trap wasn't a death sentence. He is one lucky horse.
I’ve always found cattle guards disgusting. Great job saving this horse
No cattle guards with my uncle’s cows; we’d just open the gates from horseback when we brought them in for milking.
Thank you for all the hard work, hero rescuers. Good news no broken bones some cuts and abrasions but he will heal. Now to fix the problem with the cattle guard. Hopefully no animals will have the same freak accident.
In germany we have pipes that are close together so nothing can slip though, but they turn 360° to make em slippery. WAY more humane than these things in the video :(
Interesting 👍
Hope these ranchers read your comment, to install these humane pipes.
I hate those things, god bless this poor soul
Get rid of the cattle guard!!!?!!!
I will be praying for a full recovery for that precious horse. So happy to hear nothing was broken. That was a miracle in itself. Please keep us updated on his progress.
Always hated catle guards ever since my little sister got her leg stuck in one on my nans farm many years ago
A remarkable team! Thank God for men like you!❤
Awh the poor baby, those whinnies made me cry he knows you're helping him. Im so happy but so sad at the time, I'm crying while writing this 😭❤️❤️🩹
That is why I don't like cattle guards. I understand them, but never liked them. I don't even like walking over them myself. Double up gates, buffer lanes (a space created between fences, wide enough for farming vehicles to drive down)
Great rescue. I am so glad the horse wasn't hurt worse. Thanks to the good men who helped out. A speedy recovery to the horse. 🐎💋❤️🙏✝️
They should have put blankets on his legs to protect them from the sparks.
Thank you thank you thank you. You all deserve heaps of praise. Sending tons of love
This is when you need a ROTATOR WRECKER, & A PLASMA CUTTER !! Drive through electric gate would be better than those leg breaker cattle guards ! Thanks for your efforts to get this poor horse out of this life threatening situation. Hope he's not permanently injured.
Poor horse the way it winnied when he saw the rescuers ❤ he behaved really well
God was watching over him for sure great job team
Amen!!! Bless his ❤
Wow! You all are specialists in that rescue! So impressed and happy with the outcome.
Yall did a great job, hat's off. Took a great horse to take it.
Breaks my heart, cattleguards only protect a very small protion of a farmers lifestyle!!!
This horse was very fortunate. There are so many more that end up fatally harmed. I have seen a situation where a 17 hand horse escapades its pasture VIA a cattleguard just to end up decapitated by a car on the roadway adjacent to the pasture.
Good for you guys! The poor guy must have been so frightened. It's a miracle he didn't break a leg. He looked pretty wrung out there at the end. So glad for him and for you all.
Oh, when he calls to them 😪
My family had a ranch in Nevada. It's true nothing survives a cattle guard. I remember a few times them getting a call about a cow stuck in it. They showed up with the tools to slaughter on the spot.
