The first few years for Cadillac will definitely not be easy, but I hope they will be good and bring exciting races. The Ferrari engine is not bad, I will be curious to see what Cadillac can do with it.
The express condition to allow Cadillac to race was be a new engine supplier from day one...if they cant meet this? they will need to wait or use a Toyota or Renault engine... F1 should look at other entries until 2029 when Cadillac engines will ready. Toyota should work with either Cadillac or another new team prior to 2029.
Toyota will partner with Haas on an engine, then buy them and become a works team. Haas team principal Komatsu is Japanese,, so it seems like a win win for all, IMHO....
Not so. The approval is based on Cadillac being the lead partner as an auto manufacturer works team with the engine supply being designed by the new team to be provided in a reasonable timeframe.
So an F1 GM Cadillac team with a Ferrari engine, well at least they get to put a "Cadillac" sticker on the side of the car. Good to see more cars on the grid but this sure isn't a real "Cadillac" team. Meanwhile Liberty Media is working 24/7 to destroy what is great about F1...it's the show after all.
The whole project is a waste of cubic amounts of money. Cadillac would have done far, far better by doubling down in WEC. At least there they have the honor of being competitive. The best they can hope for in F1 is back row. In the end, they'll sell the whole operation for more than they paid and life goes on. F1 is the most boring and irrelevant racing series on the planet. Don't care, just wanted to scoff the subject.
Reading a press release never sounded so boring. Chuck in a clickbait headline and you’ve lost yourself a potential subscriber 🙄
Marlboro: USA and Formula 1's greatest collaboration
Thank you for this excellent video.
Great news!
Too bad Riccardo isn't interested, from what I've read
FORZA CADILLAC !

Sweet, another mobile chicane team.

Cadillac will develop its own engine from like around 2028
