Thanks. Those tapes from that company is so pretty. I’ve always thought about getting washi tape but didn’t want to clutter up my journal. I like the idea of using them to mark social events on your calendar or for making the title on your weeks. Or cutting them out as a heading or edging a page. All minimal but pretty. I watched your other washi tape video also. I’ll check out the company since you seem to have been using them for bit.

So many awesome ideas for washi tape! Thank you for these! What did you use to cut out the washi tape shapes, an exacto knife? Do you have to worry about it cutting through the paper?
I tend to use a craft knife with a scalpel blade, but most craft knives would work I think :) I always press really lightly and go over the cuts several times so it's more like scoring the lines rather than cutting

I love the idea but I'm nervous about cutting out shapes in the washi tape when it's already in my journal -- how do you know you're not cutting through the paper as well?
Because the washi tape is so thin, I don't apply any pressure at all - just letting the sharpness of the craft knife cut through it!
I had to practice lots too because I did cut through the paper too! ☺️
I made my husband watch this with me after I spend $50 on washi tape 🤣
