Hi, You might reinstall windows 10 and you might have more than 1 hard drive or #SSD in your pc. But for some reason, your second #harddrive is #NotShowingUp
If you have this sort of situation then here is the video would show you how to resolve the issue within a few minutes.
Few key points.
Make sure your second drive was showing during the windows' setup guide.
Make sure there is no data because this method will reformat the data, and you are going to lose the data. So Know what you are going to do and what will be happened.

Every tutorial hasnt helped, everything is fine but it wont show up in disk manager or this pc, it only shows in device manager.
I am unable to find my d,e,f drives and SSD with this trick what can I do?

Check your BIOS setting, sometimes enabling extra things will make the motherboard not look at it

Just 5 mins this happened...
I have nearly 6 Drives such as C, D, E , F, G
Everything was fine untive this 5 min But while working I saw on "My Computer" there are only 2 drives only C and D.
Please say and save me ...
I went to Disk manager but there also was 2 drives ....
I can create and allocated a new fresh drive but I have tons of wedding video projects on those drives ...
Now I open my CPU cabinet ... and can feel the Hard disk is too hot when touched .... I have kept it separated for few minutes..
I wish everything is fine and Files and drives are normal ...
Plz say what should I do ...or whats going happen

Well I have the same problem but my external hard drive is not showing on disk management....but it shows in drivers and says this device is working properly.....and my hdd Led is also on...and i tried everything but it's not working ....pls help me

i still cant find the solution to my specific problem, so the Sata SSD I put in is not recognized by windows, doesnt show in cmd or in the disk management doesnt even show in boot menu on the bios, but when i search the bios it does recognize the SSD as "fire cuda, Gaming 120" is connected but it says it shows up as RAID and im not sure why, but its not showing in anything else. and i cannot figure out how to fix this particular issue.

the fact windows doesn't do this automaticly or at least prompt you to do this after installing a new drive is a complete oversight on microsofts part.
I'm by no means a novice when it comes to upgrading pc components, but yet here i was checking for drivers, running scans and was about ready to send my new SSD back thinking it was damaged.

Hi I have a ASUS ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING II mb and I can't get the second m. 2 slot to recognize the m. 2 drive. Both drives is Nvme. I bow use the pci alot and it works fine. Any ideas?
What do you do if it doesn’t show in the disk management either? It shows in the device manager though. (I’m assuming it works the same on windows 11)

I have a different issue. My 3rd HDD is not being detected every time on first boot or cold boot. After having the PC off for a long time and I power it up, my 3rd HDD or Drive E is not detected and the PC boots a lot slower than it normally does, about twice as slow.
When I restart it via selecting restart in the start menu, the problem persists.
When I restart it via shutting it down, waiting for a few seconds and then powering it up again, all of a sudden everything runs fine, all of my HDD are detected and my PC boots fast (around 35s which is fast for me at least).
What if you have a laptop. I put a 2 tb SSD in the 2nd SSD slot on my Acer nitro 5. I turned it on and there's no ssd that is seen. Idk what to do
My 2nd ssd won’t even show up in disk management. But in device manager, it lists both ssds. Do you know of anything I could do?

When i go to thé disk manager, it doesnt show my D: diretory... just à "Disk 0" with 120 GB free (can be thé space remaining on my old D: diretory) but it isnt in "Unallocated " there is nothing near it... What can i do... idc about loosing data tbh

In mine device management the hard drive drivers don't shows up and in disk management the hdd is listed but it is in line with the ssd i have my windows on ssd not able to fix any other method ? Or am i doing something wrong

Computer Management is finding both SSD drives, but Disk Management is not finding the second SSD and there is no unallocated space or second drive. Is my drive incompatible or am I missing something?
