This is one of the few models I actually went through the trouble of magnetizing his arms. Whenever I get around to painting it, I think I'll be glad I did.
Just about to get my first dread for my orks. He’s gonna be my warboss and this tutorial is very useful for the type of colour scheme I’m going for, thank you
I haven't had a smart idea since then. That was my one and only moment of brilliance. Thank you for watching and leaving a comment. I will have some more Ork stuff coming out soon.
Excellent, straight forward tute. About to tackle this bad boy and this is exactly what I needed! One question though, you mentioned you used super glue when sticking the model to the base, but I have never seen super glue that is thick and globby like that. Where would one purchase a glue such as this?
Hey Luke! Thanks for watching the video and I am stoked you are using it. I use gorilla glue super glue gel. I will post a link in the description. Paint on!
Save you time if you primed the whole model in chrome, didn’t even need to paint over much metallic. The result came out similar to the end result as your video 🎉
@@Loosedook I would say it's much better for this miniature. The reason being that the Corax white is much thicker compared to the Vallejo white which allows it to cover the surface area of the miniature with less paint. Hope that helps. Feel free to reach out to me on IG if you have any questions.
Hey Steve I am so sorry. I just copied the link and checked it. Those are for sure not the same brushes. Looks like Amazon canceled the brushes I was using. I use a Kolinsky size one paint brushes. I really apologize for that.

I had thought about doing the same thing but decided not to just to save time. Anyway, thank you for watching Evil!
Nice, watching this while painting my dread.
Hell yeah! Thank you for watching the video!

Thank you SK for watching. I should have some more Warhammer videos coming out soon.
This was very helpful man. Thanks for the help :D
Thank you for watching the video! I'm glad I could help.
So awesome! Thanks for this!
My pleasure! Thank you for watching.
Interesting, the Deff Dread is certainly something I'd do in sub asseblies, just bc of all the stuff dangling about in the way.
Yeah, I just F it and YOLO. Thank you for watching and leaving a comment.
Bro, drawing the square is genius. I'm over here freehanding it and making a mess.

That’s a great idea. I’m going to try that on my next one. Thank you for that idea. Also, thank you for watching the video.
How does your white go on so smooth with only two coats? Mine always looks awful
Are you thinning your white down enough? White has a lot of pigment and needs to be thinned more than other paints.
@@nerdknights1122 I think I am. It takes like 6 coats before I have good coverage and then doesn’t look as good
Are you using citadel paint? Also, you might have your paint too thin.
@@nerdknights1122 I’m using Vallejo model color for white. Does corvax white have good coverage?

What prime paint did you use?
I use Citadel Primer. If I have the time I always use an airbrush though.
So, there's this one, and 3 smaller in another kit ?
That's correct. Below is the smaller one.

What brushes are you actually using. I got the one you posted but they are definitely not the same.

Hey send me a message on Instagram. I’ll send you some brushes.
