I've never heard that before. Many voices are beautiful and people can hit notes and belt and so on but this is a quality that is so rare. I only just realized all my favourite Glee songs where sung mostly by her because I listened to them blindly before. Not to mention that Naya Rivera also manages a way of acting that also seems exceptional to me (now I started watching it) as she seems to become Santana, mainly or especially in the way she looks at people and holds eye contact. It feels incredibly authentic and is much above this kind of stereotypical TV show kind of acting that you often see in other actors/actresses. She really seemed one of a kind to me.

What makes this performance so achingly beautiful isn't only Santana's passion and gorgeous voice, but Brittany's innocence. She doesn't see any of the reasons they can't be together. They don't even occur to her. "So why don't you sing that to me in front of everyone?" I tear up at that line every time. The only thing she knows is that she loves Santana and Santana loves her, and that's all that matters. I think we can all learn a lesson from Brittany.
I may be biased because this is one of my favorite songs of all time performed by my favorite character but it was just so raw and emotional. I’m glad Naya got more airtime and was able to show off her triple-threat talent in the later seasons. She was truly one of a kind.🤍🕊
