If anyone was curious, the 2nd opponent's names were all nicknames and some references
Baxcalibur = くろひげ = kurohige (blackbeard)
Garganacl = カガミモチ = kagamimochi (it's a food that kinda looks like it)
Tinkaton = ムロツヨシ = murotsuyoshi (google tells me this is a comedian?)
Rotom = デンジ = denji (dunno if intentionally a CSM reference or anything, but denji just means electromagnetic)
Palafin = オールマイト = All Might
Dragapult = ５２ガロン = 52 Gallon (.52 Gal is a Splatoon weapon)
One of the dumbest sets I used to like running was a Magic Room team where you have Crawdaunt on your team with D-Dance and Choice Scarf or Choice Band. You set up Magic Room, wait until there's 2 turns left, get the Crawdaunt in, D-Dance, and Magic Room ends. Now you have a Crawdaunt with +1 Atk and Speed with a Scarf or Band.
This is hilarious
Wait, a Magic Room team would be super fun. You can have multiple Choice setup mons, and maybe an Assault Vest Trick mon.
Can't tell you how many times I've lost 6 star Crawdaunt raids. Adaptability on it is deceptively scary.
Crawdaunt is a PITA for sure. Slowbro and Hydreigon are also tough ones, and I always skip them now.

I just have a written in stone code on what to fight in six star raids, and the nightmare one is anything that can put my mon to sleep and has taunt.

For those who don't know:
Normal STAB OR Mismatched Tera: 1.5x
Adaptability OR Matching Tera: 2.0x
Adaptability AND Matching Tera: 2.25x
That mathematically makes no sense shouldn’t it be 2.5x

Best Pokémon content creator ever and it’s not even close. I used to settle for people that focused on news or just being super optimal competitively. Honestly didn’t want to like him but has just been consistently hilarious and won me over. Not trynna glaze but you’re literally the best UA-camr in general.
I want this Pokémon to get a regional variant were it’s a fire/ghost Pokémon , fire because we’ve put it in boiling water and ghost because it is now dead .

I love Morpeko, there is nothing funnier than getting a knock out with the little guy in hangry mode just for it to do the animation back to normal like its emoting after the knockout
The move distribution for crabhammer is actually limited to crabs (and scorpions if you count Gligar).
Compare this to high horsepower, which isn't limited to horses - snails, bears, hippos, bodybuilders, pigs, dogs, and crocodiles.

So fun fact. At 4:16. Doing the calc, Rocks were not needed, Crab did 112% min to the standard OU defensive set with 248 def. Crit 100% did matter

I remember using choice scarf Crawdaunt in the 3DS-era Pokémon games and that was super fun! Sure it is slow, but with max speed and a scarf it outsped.. most things and hit them really hard! Nice to see you do my boy some justice!
Crawdaunt is the type of pokemon that needs close supervision. Otherwise it takes a single turn for it to go straight for the opponent's dignity.
Its not a top tier menace but you underestimate it either at your own peril or in hindsight after it tore apart your entire team to a musical background that consists entirely of angry, incoherent screeching.

This was my Emerald set for the Battle Frontier with the only difference of having Protect instead of Aqua Jet. My Crawdaunt was amazing to use with Swellow in the Dojo tower.

Crawdount was my favorite water type in gen 3. And ive grown to love it more throighout swsh, i was in a groudon cave run and there was one KO left luckily i was able to max out my atk w a helping hand from an AI wiggly tough and one shot that mug. It was awesome

I personally used to use Crawdaunt a LOT in Sword, and I still used it in Scarlet. Stopped to after a while, but I think I just may again.

Yup +2 Tera water adaptability adamant in the sun does take out a bold max hp max defense. It does a minimum of 108%

Crawdaunt has been a favorite ever since I got bodied by one in an online match once which caused me to try him out myself and fall in love.
I personally would have used Mystic Water, it boosts Aqua jet nicely and i doesn't have recoil, but yeah i guess life orb is also fine.
