You’re very welcome brotha! I absolutely love this car! I have more of it in my playlist called Traxxas 4tec. Thank you bro I couldn’t be more proud of her 😊
@@itzzgraham I’ll watch some more videos on that I just don’t wanna mess with anything but make it as fast as possible but I’ll definitely consider it right now I have 48t spur an 43t pinion I think I fit the 45pinion I’ll try that then I’ll check the mod1 gears
About to build a rds carbon with gyro or the yokomo rd2 I just want a rear wheel drive with full steering lock which 4tec doesnt have and dont know if it can Also for motors im seeing lower kv like 3000kv and under and sensored is the way to go cause your not going fast for drifting and wanna be percise
4tec is definitely more of a basher but for being stock the 4tec handles great. You can’t adjust the steering angle on a 4tec sadly but if you know how to countersteer and to apply throttle to help get more angle you don’t need anything else 7:30 look at how precise I’m able to drift around the cones using only throttle and the angle the 4tec allowes
my question is how many tires do you go through drifting outside on concrete or asphalt? Ive heard you can go through a set of tires in 1 battery run and that would get crazy expensive!!!!. It looks like that set you just put on are pretty worn out too..
It’s actually not as bad as you think, I go through tires probably monthly. I don’t have to buy new wheels, just the plastic sleeves to go around around them, and the drift bands that you glue onto the wheels. Altogether it’s like 15 bucks. 25 to 35 if I want new wheels too
I am actually not sure what brand they are but I got them at my local hobby shop, There are similar designed wheels on Amazon and I picked up a couple from Amazon as well different color and they rock. I also have some metal wheels instead of plastic, those I bought on Amazon as well
@ I have broken multiple plastic wheels, and I haven’t broken any of the 4 metal wheels I’ve gotten so I would definitely say they are worth it but I still switch back and fourth from plastic to metal
@@TheMP5guyit definitely should man, I would suggest getting a temp gun as well to make sure you are staying within the motor and ESCs temperature range
@@itzzgraham Yes, I checked, but putting drift tires on a 4wd does not make it a drift car. This model is fun for bashing, but for drift please check the super-g videos about it.
@@cars1dAfeel free to send me the link man I’ll watch it. Still couldn’t disagree any more though, just because it’s 4wd doesn’t disqualify it from drifting, it’s a totally different type of drifting when you put grip tires on it. Think of it as a mini Arrma Infraction, then when you put drift tires on it, it starts acting more like an actual drift car and you can hold angle just like a 2wd but with more speed most of the time. I can run this car on any surface and drift and I think that is probably one of my favorite things about this car. I don’t need a flat surface to drift. I mean take a look at this short man, pavement drifting around another rc ua-cam.com/users/shortsyGMDFRfJISc?si=pVQcVt9RT6v2BV7n
This is all wheel drive to!? I was looking into this to make a dirty build but wasn't sure! Thank you for the upload. Congrats to your sister as well

I got my 4tec bc of u now I’m into speed runs I got it for drifting at first but damn it could be quick
They are super quick man even stock, I would suggest Mod 1 gearing for speed runs

I wanna get the infraction it’s been in my mind for the last month I might just pull the trigger

What set of wheels are the bronze wheels from?

What fan do you have?
The motor fan is a Hot Racing and the ESC fan is a Traxxas😎
@itzzgraham thanks! While drifting my 4tec 2.0 non-VXL it gets super hot. I'm hoping the fans help
@@TheMP5guyit definitely should man, I would suggest getting a temp gun as well to make sure you are staying within the motor and ESCs temperature range
I have a temp gun. I will have to start using that more. I do have a small drift video of my 4tec on my channel
I will save time: no
What makes you say that man? Did you watch the video
