I live in the battle box.
That idea of 'black bodies' got me thinking about student loans. The bank kinda needs the black bodies in order to conjure the money they are lending these black students to go to school. Higher education has become a scam - the money goes to the college, and the bank gets the money paid back to them in loan payments - it's the students' asses on the line at the end of the day. What is the incentive to fail them? It doesn't make business sense to stop taking their loan money.

CHAOS is a fantastic book. Ive listened to the audiobook once b4 buying the hard copy. Its so thorough and can be dense in some areas. But its just an incredible piece of investigative journalism/ historical research
It’s interesting how, at 33:25 he’s actually having a civil conversation with someone from the other side, and then someone from their side comes up and tells them to stop, and that it’s not making people feel safe. The only person not making people feel safe in that situation was her. It’s all about control.

I always find the "educate yourself" "learn about us" "do the work" to be total BS. No one has the right to be a jerk to others but one person can never know or should be expected to know the life and even struggles of other people. When I saw the Patriot guy, or however he was described, just try to talk to others and the extremely unwelcome response we received, was no surprise. First off, he is dealing with a [crowd] and a crowd is maybe 10% willing to hear someone speak, but _that_ [crowd] is less than zero % chance. His only option was to speak one on one, but was met with just as much resistance.

Those to whom he was hoping to speak, are simply not capable of the critical thinking necessary to bridge any gap and we all know why that is. Will see how I feel today, but the events of yesterday may have indeed created a fundamental change in me, so that remains to be seen.

This is not the same, in any way shape or form. I would seriously suggest that you revisit Ww1 and WW2 history before making such an asinine statement. Start with the Balfour Agreement. Which handed over from English control a land which they had NO ties to, to another group of people with NO ethnic ties to 5he region. 😑
