Hey Mr. FortNine, I baught the TCX Rush WP and just did my first turns with them in the sweet December rain. I drove for about 30 kilometers on the highway in the rain at an average speed of 90 km/h and man, my hands were drenched, but not so my feet. These boots are great, fit well and look awesome. I impregnated them two times before first use and not a drop came through despite tons of water on the highway and rain. Simply perfect.
This channel is doing fine for what it is Not Everybody wants to know about every single kind of motorcycle gear Most people just watch what they're interested in and don't watch anymore I've watched like 20 different videos on this channel but I'm not going to subscribe
Hey Ryan this channel is legit, just got my first helmet off you guys looking forward to getting it soon. What I love about fortNine is that your in Canada so it makes shipping things a lot easier for other Canadians rather than having to get all my gear from some place down in the states.
I stumbled upon your channel a couple of weeks ago and just can't stop watching whenever I get a chance. Very useful and informative. Thanks my fellow Canadian.
Nice picks, I was pretty excited when I heard about the exo420 too, whenever a customer tells me they're on a budget I at least tell them to get into a scorpion considering most 'other' offerings in that price range...
I don't know why fieldsheer isn't more popular. I tried on one of their leather jackets at my local motorcycle dealership, it seemed like a great quality jacket, good leather and padding, at a really good price.
Ryan my friend, you are in full possession of the most valued personal quality! Being fully self-assured. Nothing else matters after that ;) You are winning life! Keep being you!
I would love to see a video like this for women! This is my favorite channel for motorcycles, thank you for helping me move through the process of buying my first bike!
Plain and simple if it is not tested or covered by you or revzilla I will turn my nose without hesitation.. thanks for your honesty and all that you do!
The 410 was clearanced for $88 at Revzilla two years back. 420 probably same today since the carbon fiber one is the new fashion fad. "Jackets 4 Bikes": same leather jacket with CE armour and full sleeve zip liner from Pakistan (like his) as this one $89. Totally happy. Warm and dry to -3C without having to add sweaters. Cordura CE armoured riding pants $55 on Amazon TCX brogans..I bought em off a cruiser almost unused for $20. Have had them over two years. Grand total: about $250 Replace every five years (keep the jacket) Gloves...matters to armor or just leather. Add an extra $30-60 Bought a tourmaster mesh summer jacket from same cruiser for $50
@@STho205 Man I totally agree, all these FAKE reviews on UA-cam are always sponsored with free stuff. Unfortunately there are spoiled and stupid people who are happy to pay $500-1,000+++ for a jacket so manufacturers keep on making these thieves style prices, bought from Pakistan for 100, sold to stupid western people for $1,000+++.
The question you have to ask is how much is my skin worth? I have had to bin and re buy $2,000 worth of gear after a crash but i walked away from the crash with all my skin still attached so probably saved $20,000 in lost earnings and medical bills.
@@randomdaysy You're missing the point altogether.....some of us simply don't have $2,000 or even $1,000 to spend on gear. Motorcycling shouldn't be just a rich man's hobby but should be practical everyday transportation for those who can't afford a car. It's no accident that scooters and motorcycles are the main source of transportation in poor countries and if safety gear costs more than the bike than look for most people to NOT wear it.
Just received that exact scorpion exo-420 a couple days ago, absolutely amazing helmet, and it’s beautiful! Ordered from revzilla and got it in two days!
I miss it too. Apparently shipping a living room across Canada is prohibitively expensive. I ordered a couple chairs and a table that should cozy things up a bit. ~RF9
I actually dig the minimalist look right now. Hopefully, when you get the furniture and stuff, that look stays kinda the same. Love your vids man. I'm actually looking into getting a motorcycle at some point thanks to you. :D
The word Cheap, should be replaced with the word "Inexpensive". Cheap implies quality as well. Which is misleading, because alot of gear is inexpensive with good quality! Just my 2 cents! Cheers mate
Keep in mind, this is the channel of a large retailer in the industry, "cheap" I would guess is considered more likely to get more hits than "inexpensive", although I do agree otherwise.
Every Video you make me smile my friend, keep up the awesome videos, i love the studio , it's minimalism at its finest , your showing off the gear not the studio so i don't expect to see much behind you ... Have a question though, did you personally put that bike hanging up off the ceiling yourself or did you have help ? .. haha Just kidding . Love the gear and your comments on them very insightful.. thank you so much for sharing this information with new and older riders alike .. We thank you !
Nice to a great vid without the extra drama. Love that your not in your face or pretentious. Maybe it's because your Canadian. Hope the west coast is treating you well.
I think a video for gear care and cleaning should be done. I highly recommend NikWax leather restorer. Made my non waterproof leather jacket more waterproof than my RST Blade2 textile jacket, kept the leather in good shape too.
One thing I would change for sport bike riders would be picking up the Oxford RP-1 race suit or RP-2 suit as both are under the 600$ mark right now. I bought my RP-1 suit for only 535.99 on revzilla
Hm - I often find myself slowly rolling clutch engaged before i get to a hold at a crossroad and can't find neutral - so using my right hand to open the visor is pretty common - at least for me.
Great video although i dont agree with the boots though....i always wear boots that cover my shins... 1. Jeans go over them. 2. Why would i want to protect myself any less.? Keep'em coming...!

Yes!!! Thank you Fortnine! I was looking for your 2018 low budget speed gear vid for the last 2 weeks xD (for when I'm on the motorway and not commuting to Work or College)
You went with the scorpion helmet but you missed it with the scorpion leather jacket. I would say it way better than Joe rocket. Also the scorpion gloves are amazing.
Hope to see a video like this for adv riders soon. I was gonna get an exo 410, but they're simply unavailable in my size anywhere with all the closeouts. I was going to just get the 420, but I didn't realize the new shape was meant for a different riding style. If the 420 is still okay for an upright position, I'll just get that, but I'm new so any advice is appreciated from any of the fine members of this community.
Those tcs shoes reminds me of those adidas good year addition. Awesome track shoes for all motor sports. Didn’t last long wasn’t the in crowd so to speak.
"Right or wrong handed people" I lol'd... I'm stealing that!
Totally missed that! Thanks for pointing it out.
Lol that's a good one!
Haha, Fuck you! I can use both hands! ;)
My grandmother used to say that. 😆
Did he just call me wrong handed?
I'm laughing too hard to be offended

All of that gear looked like pretty good commuting gear to me.

Love your reviews. Revzilla could learn a thing or 2 😎
Revzilla is a store so of course they're going to like everything they sale. Their reviews are informative but definitely biased.
Nicholas Lyles They do anything for someone to buy a product, not just Revzilla, but every company.
Well , all product links redirect to RevZilla for US customers. So Ryan is doing great job for them too.
The AGV pants have been discontinued. Can you recommend different pants please?

You guys make some of the best videos around. Super fun/creative and always informative. Thanks for being awesome.
You know what you really would be good at, Marketing. You'll make a fine salesman. I can never describe a jacket in such detail.
