I received my Cobra forged tec series 2 weeks ago the trajectory and lower and it allows me to lower my spin, good touch, pleasant, tolerant and a power gain !!!! High
Enjoyed your vid. I like your style re: hitting from different tees and such. Picked up a set of Forged Tec's last week ... too much snow here Canada to try them out. Lol But cannot wait for spring!
Hi happy new year, I'm completely agree with you about the top line with the long irons 4,5,6 they must be thicker than the 7,8,9 for more confidence when it comes to hitting them.
Thanks for the review! Coming from traditional lofted irons (34 degree 7 iron) then moving to these, I took them in and got the loft increased on each iron by 2 degrees. Best move for my game that I could have done and really cheap to do so.
I started playing less than a year ago and have the 2021 version of these. I picked them up in my local shop in almost perfect condition. I learned to hit them well (5i around 210). Still haven’t figured out if these are not necessarily for someone starting out? Did I start with a set that was harder to learn?
Hello mate Would be great to see you test out some Takomo 201 or 101T Budget irons directly from the supplier. 1/2 the price supplier is based in Finland.
Would you say a high handicap could use these? Currently game pxg 0211xcor2 irons. Like a sleek look, wanting a forged set with forgiveness. I should around the 98-104 mark
You seem to have an issue with the lower spin, however, these irons and others like them still launch the ball super high. If the peak height and landing angle is decent, the lower spin is less of an issue. I think these irons are designed with 2 types of golfer in mind.....1. the Higher Spin player looking to bring her/his spin down and 2. the Player who struggles to get decent peak height on her/his irons. These irons suit a multitude of players if you ask me, however, an 8 iron that goes 180yds, that requires some thoughts on tee & approach shots, right through the bag.
You look fairly tall (6'2"?), yet you choke up at least 1.5 inches. Are your clubs standard length or longer, and why do you choke up so much? Excellent results.
Oooooo something to get me out of my Pro MB's? Maybe not, that topline looks a little thick. WHAT??? Another change of home club? What are you guys doing 😂😂😂

They are great bags

Yeah seems backwards doesn’t it….

Good stuff!

lovely set of sticks
Yeah boy
Look a nice iron. I think all the club manufacturers are trying to make their clubs look sleeker through all their ranges..
Yeah they get better every year these hollow head designs
Crondon Park your home course now love it there proper course and that monster 18th 😮😮😮. Irons look mustard but are they more for low handicaps ?
Irons could 100% be gamed by a mid handicap player too! They are super forgiving

If they wanna ship some out we will put them on the chopping block for sureeee
I’m looking at getting a set of these, I currently have some cobra ltdx irons and play off 13. In your opinion are these worth upgrading to?
Nice and honest Ash 👍🏻
I thought Braintree was your home course, have you changed?
Video coming soon….
Heck, I want you to teach me your swing! Liked the review but I like your compact swing!
Thanks bro
Love Crondon, my local course after Stockbrook. Clubs look decent too
Crondon is the daddy

Absolutely
@@thegolfsupply thank you for the reply, I'm stuck between these, the dynapower forged, or the usual set (p790) 😂, which would you recommend the most?
Good for a 16 handicap? Been told I hit my irons well. Taylormade RSi2
Yeah solid irons

Agree
What do you think about these in one lengh
Haven’t used them dude. Never been too keen on the idea though in all honestly
Good content well done. it’s comeing out lower cause your choking down so much. Try gripping in the normal spot.
Nah I choke down on everything but still deliver a normal dynamic loft. These are just slightly stronger lofted and produce less spin
@@thegolfsupply you play well. Great swing. Cheers 🇨🇦
Can’t compare
Different lofts
Cobra tour irons are compared to mizuno 223 and p770

I am exactly 6’2 good eyes! Feel like I have more face control that’s all. Clubs are standard length
@@thegolfsupply Yeah. Choking up an inch or two has given me so much more consistency and confidence with minimal distance loss. Love it.
I'm 6'3 and I choke up on standard length clubs, it just gives me more control of the face and better consistency
“This could go absolutely anywhere.” Nice shot. Subscribing, be well.
Haha
Oooooo something to get me out of my Pro MB's?
Maybe not, that topline looks a little thick.
WHAT??? Another change of home club? What are you guys doing 😂😂😂
Video coming soon to explain all
@@thegolfsupply c'mon boys...the suspense is killing me 😂😂😂
It’s twoooooooooo twenty 5
I don’t know what this means 😂
what a smooth swing
✌️✌️✌️✌️
Excellent review! Music sucks.
Like, REALLY SUCKS BAD!!!
Thanks
I noticed you say the spin is low, but was you fitted for these? A diff shaft might give a better spin rate
I was not fitted for these irons dude
the top line ..is need for proper cg?
Needed
Glad you know 😂
