- I WENT TREASURE HUNTING AT THRIFT STORES
I went out thrifting and ended up with a nice haul to resell on ebay. I scored lots of clothing and even took a chance on something I have no experience with. I hope you enjoy these thrift store finds and learn a thing or two! #thrifting #reselling #thrift

Great video! Thank you for sharing some brands to look out for!!!
Nice bread n butter day!
💯😁
love the fit🙌🏻
Thanks for the informative content. I never thought about looking at the buttons to find the brand names. Now I know!
I would like to see another video about how/where you post/sell and how you price with details about how you display/present your merch for beginners. I enjoy your thrifting videos especially the brands to look for. Great find on the multi-color vase!!!! SueB
Good guess on the Murano vase.
🤞
Enjoyed! 🧡🧡🧡
Thanks!
I think Murano would have a clear bottom not cloudy.
Cool I’ll look into that. Thanks for the info!
Thanks for the video
Thanks, if you are attempting to learn more glass items, give a quick shot of those items to your audience….I am sure if one of us sees something you might want to look out for in future…there was a Fenton bowl vase next ( white ruffled silver crested rim) to the computer thingy you picked up for $10 in the case.
Dude I love your shirt! I've been searching for a blink t-shirt!!
Great video enjoy watching
Thanks 😎
Am I the only one that actually loved the Brioni shirt?? I thought it was fabulous. 🤷🏻♀️
Great video ✌️
watch Crazy Lamp Lady, she loves blown glass and her videos are very informational.
Always a great informative and edited video. whooot whoot the money train is visiting you.
I used to do Goodwill Mondays and I tell ya, it was like a drug.
That sold Brioni listing is mine! Cant believe it made it to your vlog! Im a big fan of yours!
Theory, Paige and most 7s unless they are brand new have all dropped off a cliff. I don’t pick up Theory or Paige anymore at all. I might reconsider if it had tags or is cashmere.
Ben, more great scores........
LOOK FOR THESE BRANDS: Brioni, Brunello Cucinelli, Rubinacci, Loro Piana, Persol, Ermenegildo Zegna, Canali, Luco Faloni, Stone Island, Bogliolo, Velasca, Borsalino
nice paul cantu thumbnail👌🏼
❤️❤️❤️
Doubt that is Murano Glass, it doesn’t have pontil mark on the bottom. Murano glass items are individually blown, a mark is made by the rod which is used by the artisans to hold the glass work while the artist shapes it. The mark can be sanded down but never to a flat surface like that, your’s looks machine cut.
Awesome! Thank you for the knowledge I really appreciate the help in understanding the niche. I’ll defiantly do some research into stuff you mentioned. So I can identify stuff later 👍 thanks again!
Your vase is Sommerso glass (two or more layers of glass created while blowing). I would hesitate on calling it Murano due to the cloudy bottom. It's lovely though!
Agree. Have sold Murano for decades. Cloudy is a no no.
Cool I appreciate the help on that 👍. Gotta learn the little tricks of the niche 🙂
@@ReadySetResell Absolutely! There's always a bit of a learning curve when learning a new niche! Thanks for all the great info you share. I've learned so much from you and now look for items I never thought to look for before!
I always enjoy and learn thank you!
Glad to hear that 😎👍
i always notice your GW stores never seem very crowded or busy..often you look like only one in store shopping..ones i go to always busy full people .
Great job. There's that great smile. I always feel comfortable and welcome when I watch your videos. I learned a lot of new brands from this content. That Brioni shirt was a cool find, it will definitely sell fast. Great video RSR, Thanks. Keep up the good work.
😀😀
😁
Thanks Ben for the 7 on the pocket to look for tip.
No problem. It’s a good visual reference to look for.
Stretch marks on the pants ty
Thanks for the video and not doing voice overs like others
"Wow, that's hideous, I better look up that tag" is a basic rule of thumb for me while thrifting clothes.
I think it’s a dress shirt that is suppose to worn underneath a jacket or with a suit. Italians and a lot of Latin men wear shirts similar to this. It’s not really a white guy thing. I don’t really think it’s ugly just needs the right person and setting to be appropriate.
@@dustinlindsey4452 Yeah, this shirt in particular isn't bad, and could definitely brighten up a suit... but my philosophy stands. Most recent find was a "trutus biancarra" shirt that looks like 70's wallpaper. Not gonna make me rich, but should bring a good return.
Never wouldn’t of known about ROAR or Big Mac brands. Great tips.
LL BEAN has returned to being a goox brand to pick up
it is not Morano, the botttom is cloudy and made in China, look for the clear bottoms.
Hey
I love learning new brands to look for. Thanks for sharing!
Loving learning new brands!
😎
Great vid, Ben. How long have you been thirft-flipping?
Thanks again!...I learned a new brand I never knew about “Big MAC”
They are good quality. Heavy and feel nice 👍
The men's Brioni shirt is 80s vintage. You can tell by the width of the sleeve area which is attached to the shoulder.
That explains the colors haha
Not sure if it's Murano because of the cloudy base but would love to know what you find out.
Is that something to look for? Non cloudy base? I appreciate the info!
@@ReadySetResell Murano glass will have the pontil mark completely polished out so will look really shiny. Keep looking and you will get to know the difference. There is a 'feel' to the quality of Murano glass you will get to know, the glass is also super shiny because the quality of the blowing. Sommerso is a difficult technique though so your vase was worth more than 8 bucks :) Be careful with your listings because it may look like Murano but not actally be that and unless you are absolutely sure you should never list as anything other than 'art glass in the Murano style', even Crazy Lamp Lady, who is a specialist label's things as just 'art glass'. If you find something with bubbles in it, known as bullicante check for evenness of the bubbles and how symetrical they are, that again is a sign of quality. Always good to learn something new, good luck :)
Classic murano vase missed the Fenton glass with the ruffled rim
How do you identify it as Fenton without a sticker? Any help would be appreciated 👍
That one looked like it had a sticker on it but that ruffled rim without a crease down the glass(there's cheap knock offs), is the tell. I learned because my girl knows that atuff.
I like that you hit the thrift stores as well as garage sales 👍 I’m always learning something from you content, appreciate the hard work
What is the coolest item you found and had to keep?
The shirt is ugly. The vase is beautiful.
Always enjoyable videos fast and to the point strictly business you could say. 🤣 🤣 other you tubers could learn alot from you they want to run 30 minute videos and don't realize someone can watch 2-4 other reseller videos running much less time and pretty sure you can learn more from 2-4 ppl all buying and selling different stuff as to 1 channel selling the same they always sell. Thanks for all you do..keep up the great work.
Hey Ben. I just recently found a vintage Patagonia rain shell jacket at a thrift store. Wanted to resell it but can't find comps for it anywhere. I searched it by style number but no luck!! Any suggestions? thanks a bunch, Vida. :)
Great information. Thank you for the video! ❤
Thanks for watching!
I love finding Roar pieces! They never sit for long!!🥳🥳🥳 Never heard of Big Mac but I'll be looking now!🕵️♀️
Nice score Ben. I like your thrift stores they are big, clean and organized. Lots of bolos!
🙋♀️I enjoy watching your finding at thrift stores. Great pick and learn more from your experience. 👍🤑👏✌
God everything e on the Marono glass, I recently picked up a paperweight for $4 and goes for $50. Glassware is my b&b I have pry half doz marano pieces, lots of blown glass and my place is covered in depression glass! Green, pink blue, yellow and way too much clear! lol
Dang that’s cool. It seems like a interesting niche to get into. I’m diggin it so far. I’m just a bit nervous about some of the more fragile stuff out there to ship.
@@ReadySetResell EXACTLY my hang up. Although with glass I’m more of a collector than anything depending on if the price is right of course lol
Great tips on the 7 For All Mankind jeans, the Big Mac and the Brioni clothing too! Never knew about those until now. I did buy a pair of Paige jeans through RA earlier this year and made a decent profit within a few months. But I definitely agree on winter clothing. I have a bunch of stuff from my unit that’s perfect for the season. The key is though how much people are willing to buy for them. It’s still hard but I barely manage. Thanks for all your videos! You’ve helped me so much!
Did you sell that LL Bean jacket? I want it! Lol
Amazing finds
Thank you!
Don't deal much in clothing, but very informative! Thank you for the content
👍👍
I’ve got a Tommy Hilfiger tie that matches that shirt, it doesn’t go with the shirt but it matches it.
😂 that would be a combo. Talk about a look 🙌
Thank you for the interesting details re various pieces.
How did you identify the glass vase so specifically ? Good learning experience!
Honestly I’m not good with glass yet. I’m buying stuff as learning pieces as of now. But, the main info I found so far all came from using google lens.
@@ReadySetResell
I saw that you said it was a learning experience.
But you ended up with a very specific title/ attribution to the maker.
Thanks.
I like your videos.
The glass vase looks very much like an mcm piece by the danish glass artist Per Lütken. I believe it is the design 'torskemund' (cod's mouth) from ca 1952. It was made at Holmegaard, a famous danish glass manufacturer. Price idea $45. Hope this helps?
Ps i would normally be signed lütken, holmegaard, or a stilised italic PL monogram.
I’ll look into it. 👍 thanks for the info drop!
I have stretch marks right around my thighs too 😂
😂 lololol
Is that the same thing as thunder thighs??? Or is that just a SoCal expression...LAXVESPA-LOSANGELES....
Loved the video mate, found LL Bean here in Sydney yesterday which is super rare. Keep grinding homie 😎
Nice! I didn’t realize lol bean was a rare thing there haha
Not sure if that's Murano, but there are Facebook groups that can help with ID'ing it for sure. I know the different colors the way they are in that piece is called Sommerso, so at least there's a keyword for you. Good find!
Cool thanks for the info. It’s defiantly a learning experience 👍
Thanks for the wealth of information as usual! As soon as you picked up that vase I figured it was Murano I'm sure you've heard of Dr Lori she can help you with antiques paintings et cetera valuations. KUTGW
I thought it might be. But, some people have pointed out murano probably doesn’t h e a cloudy base. I’ve never heard of her but I’ll look into it!
Well there is Murano from the Murano factory then there are glass items from the Murano area there's a difference. Murano factory will be marked.
Lets go 💪
A couple weeks ago you shipped something in a small padded envelope that you said "could be your best thrift store purchase ever" but you hadn't put out the video of you finding it yet. Did I miss that? The closest I've seen to a great purchase of small items was the Flea Market bucket of wrestling figures, but you didn't make a huge deal on that find.
I haven’t posted that yet. I’m still holding off on it because I have the opportunity to get more of the items I believe. So it’s just a slow moving thing atm. But it will be a dedicated video when I finally get it out.
Ugly always sell. LOL
It's frustrating when the thrift stores try to sell at resale value. I went to one thrift store and they were trying to sell a blender for $60. And jackets for $125
Yeah it can be frustrating but it’s part of the game. Thrifts have been pricing stuff up for along time and they will continue to do so. Just gotta find the stuff they don’t mark up 👍
Congrats 🍾🎉🎈🎊 on the glass piece score!!!!!🥳
Hoping it’s a good one 🤞
1st?
😎
