His hip got blown of by an exploding sturmtiger shell about a year ago, when the doctors reconstructed it they used stalinium to rebuild the bone structure as titanium was is short supply. The stalinium clearly did its job deflected the shell, which only left mild skin damage.

Between their scummy code and lazy patchwork, they make enough money off of whales to not care about anyone actually trying to like the game. The "bug" with overflow research points for vehicle mods being deleted if you join another game before the last one ends has been in the game since its inception. One instance of it could have over a 1000 points or more deleted because of the overflow "error". Hundreds of millions of vehicle mod RP has been "lost" because of this "bug" across the entire player-base since day 1, and it is constantly swept under the rug. The first few bug threads were deleted and the one that is up there still is "getting fixed" for the last 2 years. Joke of a dev when they fix and punish bugs that help players but let bugs that harm players sit for years and years.
Fuze delay is probably too long. Happens a lot with ships. If the plate is thick enough to trigger the fuze, but the shell is moving too fast to detonate while still anywhere near the thing that triggered the fuze.

This is a real problem, actually. I have seen pictures of APFSDS rounds going through a lightly armored vehicle and coming out the other side, and not doing much damage. This doesn't excuse what's happening here, though. Even if that round doesn't explode, it should still tear up the cab and everybody in it. The fact that it doesn't is one of those Certified Gaijin Moments™.
Not to mention the shell isn't even AP, it's HESH so it's not designed to penetrate, so it's a double gaijin moment when a fuckign bush will detonate the shell but two truck doors and human bodies won't
the truck is not armored. it's a standard soviet truck made from iron. 72kg object traveling 500 m/s has 9 megajoules of kinetic energy, it will not be bothered by few mm of soviet iron. obviously the both of those dudes would die, but the shell wouldn't detonate because the drop in momentum isn't enough for the head to squash and there is no detonation without the squash.
I mean HESH was meant for very thick and fused armor, not thin off the garage roof and flattened sheet I say this but i remember HE has a terrible hitbox and will go off on anything...
Well the shell needs 4mm or armor to fuse... and apparently on certain vehicles crew as no armor value.. but again it makes no sense, the indicator says that the armor equivalent is 5mm, both doors are 3mm thick, so indeed... that's a huge gaijin moment
The doors may be 3mm thick, but they are made of structural steel which has an effective thickness of only half that - 1.5mm RHA. So that's why it didn't detonate. Still a bug though. That round would absolutely kill the crew if it hit them, explosion or not.

Gaijin has a pretty serious problem on light tanks or tin hollow vehicle. Sometimes your rounds doesn't shattered inside them, they just pass through them and can survive multiple times.
Even if the fuze for some reason doesn't go off, the sheer force from a 72kg shell shot from a 183cm gun would fucking discombobulate everything and everyone in a heavily armoured tank, let alone a goofy little truck truly gaijin moment

I tested the SU-39 canon on the SU-39 windshield itself and it penned through having somewhere 30mm ~ protection, then i tested the same gun on the A-10C and pointed aswell on the windshield, and suprise, it stopped the bullet even though it got 10 mm less armor. I had a similar experience with the Russian anti tank truck (I think it was called the yag-10 or something. It was Br 3.3 I believe). My driver got shot from the side by a German PZ 4. He was only oranged.

Check and its not russian bias. You can get the same result with the french P.7.T AA and german Sd.Kfz.6/2. The shell just has to first hit the metal. if it hits a component or a crew first it just kills them or even detonates, destroying the whole vehicle. The recent update has nerf the aphe significantly,the fuse sometimes won’t even go off when I side on a panther anymore.
I generally have no problem with HE prematurely detonating. Only with HEAT it happened consistently.
