Aerial Captures of a beautiful Island estate in the Gulf Islands
Before Pym Island was such a fancy place it was a summer camp. In the early 70's my wife and I ran the camp. At most we had 16 campers. We did amazing activities including teaching survival skills and cooking with indigenous foods we found. I will always remember the summers of 70 and 71 as a time of pure joy!
Sounds great time and place for you. Congrats on your wonderful memories.
Quick Question: You have a good 50 year perspective: how are the water levels now vs. then? Is there even a noticeable rise?
Me and my parents used to live here as caretakers
@@mushycocopuff what years and who were the owners back then, just curious.
Beautiful
Very lovely home!
Love the conservatory, not fond of the house or pond at all. Looks like fun! (were asking $6M in 2012)

If you have to ask...
First on the agenda: drain that pond.
1:15 dirty water. 😓
yeah sure.....and watch all those trees die off
rainwater trapped in rocky substrate dirty???? Stay in the city where everything is so clean.
The water in the pond is fresh water, not brackish. We used to live on Pym and during the summer we ran a sprinkler out of the pond to keep the island irrigated. When not pumping water out,the pump circulated the water keeping it oxygenated. We had a foxy flier that crossed over the pond. Great fun to drop off into the water. Back then the pond was pretty deep.
