I tried this exact same thing with iPad Air 4, i.e used a C port to USB to connect the receiver of Logitech K230 wireless keyboard. But its not working. Sirf lockscreen ka pin type hota hai, otherwise kuch bhi type nahi hota h.
It will work with iOS 13 and above, so please check your iOS version.
