Wheeling (and Camping) at Uwharrie

- Having only been to URE twice this year, we NEEDED some time in the woods. While there's not a TON of wheeling in this vid, this trip was needed by both Em and I. To just get out, relax and reload from all the bullshit. We had a raccoon steal Em's marshmallows first night. Found the bag and remains and put it in garbage. Second night, he came back, climbed the tree our garbage was in, tore a hole in the bag and got the marshmallows (and ONLY the marshmallows) out, AGAIN. LMAO!! If you see a diabetic raccoon at URE, that's our guy, LOL. We met some good people we'd not known before, and overcame adversity. It was a great weekend for us, and we hope you enjoy this video.

It was sooo great meeting new friends at that sloppy clay obstacle on Wolfs Den! Clint and I hope to meet up with you again for more Jeepin’ fun!
Well said!!
Great video Clint. Except for the mud, I'm envious. Our Colorado trails have been closed for over a month.
LOL! Yeah, not a big fan of mud, either. Y'all have a short window to ride with all the snow out there. You could always take a trip to Moab.😁👍🏻
Man, your Jeep is a great looking rig!! I really like the color and the jeeps over all stance is right. Great video and content. Thanks!!!
Thanks, man! I sure appreciate it!!🤘🏻
Great video and great times! I bake potatoes in the fire quite often at camp and use this process. Spray the potato with Pam and then wrap it in the HD foil prior to leaving home, this keeps the skin from burning. Get your fire going and get a good bed of coals and rake some of the coals to the side of the fire and place the potatoes in them. Continue to rake coals into the area for 40 minutes and then I do a final rake and put my grate over the coals and cook my steak and it has never failed to produce an excellent meal!
We tried the coal method. Cheap aluminum damn near caught fire, LOL! We ended up just building the fire up and using the cooking grate. Worked well. Once the fire died down, we threw the steaks on. Shoulda got some cooking video. Next time I'll try to get some. Glad you liked the vid. Thanks for watching and the comment! 🤘🏻
Love it!!
Glad you liked it!🤘🏻
Thanks for letting me tag along! Gotta go again to break even on my annual pass😁.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍🏻
Awesome video Sir! This place looks premo for some down hill biking along with the Jeeps
LMAO!! Well, I know they do occasionally have a mt bike race there. Y'all got a place to stay if you wanna come out!👍🏻
@@ShockWaveOffroad appreciate you brother!
This was a early morning video… Loved that place
LOL! Yeah, I always upload at 5 am. That way my DOZENS of followers have a vid first thing in the morning.😉🤣🤣🤣
XJ bois ride or die,,,,, easy, when replacing an axle shaft only cost $30 LOL, good stuff man
True dat! I'd just worry about parts falling off going down the highway....😳😏😉🤣🤣🤣🤣
New here and definitely I’ll stay, not many channels of JL 2 doors
37s ? What gears and what engine do you have ?
@@jlr_adventurer I have the 3.6L gas motor. Gears are 4.88 and were perfect until I added beadlocks. The added weight of the beadlocks was enough to make me wish I'd done 5.13's. It's not bad at all, but on the hwy, the trans shifts from 8th to 7th more than I'd like.
Let’s Go Brandon 💯🖕
🤣🤣🤣🤣👍🏻🇺🇲🇺🇲

Well that's a first for me. When are you going back to uwharrie? I've been trying to get down all year just haven't been able to make it happen.
@@devinburke95_yjwillysediti48 Not sure. Hopefully gonna make it down a couple more times this year. Hafta wait and see.
Wrap em in foil and toss them taters into the coals, done in 35-45 minutes. 😂 I’ll refrain from any political comments.
We tried that. Aluminum caught on fire!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤘🏻
@@ShockWaveOffroad in the coals, not in the fire🤣
@@jlopes68 It was in the coals!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣 That birch wood and red oak gets HOT, boui!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
