Atomic Absorption (AAS) Trouble Shooting and Maintenance Part 2: Flame Atomic Absorption

This is the second in a three-part series of Agilent Instructional videos to troubleshoot and maintain your Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer. In this video, we provide instructions and tips to disassemble, clean, and reassemble the burner, spray chamber, and nebulizer of your Flame AAS System. Flame AAS is for general use and is low cost and easy to use. Instructions regarding the cleaning of the flame shield, liquid trap, drain tube, burner, and nebulizer components are discussed with examples demonstrated by Eric Vanclay. Consistent cleanings and maintenance are crucial in optimizing the lifetime and results of your Flame Atomic Absorption system.
