0:35 Welcome to the encounters of being a UA-camr 😂😂 Never mind the miserable old woman guys I am fine. It was quite funny for me actually how I was just walking past minding my own business and then pops out this woman from no where telling me I cant film. Other than crossing paths with her I came across other friendly people in the village that completely had some understanding what I was doing. Any way I hope you all enjoyed and I wanted to keep it real with you guys and show you everything how some people behave ( She could have been a bit nicer ) I just need to be professional when these things happen and not allow anyone's bad energy to stop me from doing what I enjoy and what is quite norm in the 21century.
It is normal the most of the old people don't like the new technologies and don't like to be filmed. Just be bit careful because some people can be nasty. On the orher hand some people will be happy to interact.
Because of my work I needed to travel by foot a lot around small czech villages (studying erosion and runoff) and sadly those people just do exist. One of such even call a police because I was walking too close to their property (on a public road) and the police just told me to talk to them a little while like they are giving me a fine because otherwise that "crazy old witch" would give them hell 🤣 I encounter such a folk often in a places that had strong german population prior to 1945, after the germans were expelled (milions of people) the empty houses were given to basicaly everyone from the interior. The population there is relatively new and quite ... hostile? Unsettled? Some of them are probably afraid that they can lost what they so easily obtained. (got that from talks in local pubs). Of course thats not the case for everyone, but theres just more of those people in repopulated places. Just dont take it personaly, I was quite upset after first such an encounter, but you can used to it. Just ignore them, you cant argue with them nor change them.
I want to write you earlier... but when I see the text of "hanbanaroda", I need to tell you one fact. Our country is not multiculti. This is last silent place on Earth and we all know, that we have. It is a treasure in our hands. Here is a small percentage of czech people, calling themselves "well educated". They are conceited and they are pushing people to their vision of world and for them is rest of Czech people only scrap. But the truth is, we can see, what is happening in the West. France in the flames, USA in the flames, riots, raping in Germanistan... So when you are filming our treasure, we are seeing potential threat. I like your videos, i have nothing against you, but just look at it from another angle.
It's so funny to know that most of those old village people have never seen a black person so each time you start talking to them they don't know how to react :DDD

@@KeyUSeeCZ Possibly. Still, her HOME is not "czechia". Her home is where she and her family live and are supposed to be gauranteed by the law, to feel safe there.
@@ultramarinus2478 He was not "INSIDE" her home, neither was too close to it. You can take pictures of houses outside their property, as they dont own visual aspect of it. Very good video my dude, since most of your audience is Czech, I can surely say that it's heartwarming to see you, as a foreigner, touring these villages and conversating with the people there, instead of showing the most famoust things in Prague. Prague is very touristy, although not as much these days because of the lockdown, after 9pm it's a ghost town they say :)
Ow, that's pretty normal around Czech villages to be questioned about taking pictures or filming. I'm native urban planner in here and during surveys with cameras and drones this kind of argument happens almost every time.
Because you just can't say "don't put it into the video please", right? He isn't going into the old people bedrooms you dumbo. He's not invading anyone. Everytime he is in somebody's garden, he got invited there. Thank god not all people are like you and are real Czechs with their loving mentality (not the old *everything is bad and everyone is bad* commies) and are actually very nice and welcoming to foreigners. I am actually happy when I meet some foreigner traveler in our viliage. Damn he traveled half of the world but love it here. You aren't proud of that as a Czech?! This guy has no bad motivation, quite opposite. Instead of being proud that foreigners love Czechia, you are being offended that somebody got guts to make a video from the viliage.Hope you find happiness in your lonely life. Wish you the best.
Czech, their village looks good and neat Thanks for this coverage. Believe me,from what I have seen here, the world is one. Just seeing people within their houses, birds whispering, dogs barking, seeing the churches/chapels and so on. So lovely world.
Czech republic and other Slavic countries have never had any colonies in Africa, South America or elswere...as opposed to western countries...people are not used to see black people because it is not a part of their culture...Slavic people always had to work hard to have something but they work on their own fields, forests, used their own resources...i feel sorry if you have any bad experiences here but people are just afraid of unknown...good luck :)

Ohh, dude, I feel sorry for u! 😂 U ar so nice and friendly, but those ppl, mostly oldies, have no idea what u ar doing 😅 They see a guy with a camera recording their property and they think.... I dunno what they think 😂 Some probablly consider u a weirdo while others think u will violate their privacy or something. Cuz why would anyone be interested in their village, right? 😅 U have a courage to continue this! I can imagine now why some foreigners think Czechs ar quite hostile people, ha ha xD Glad u got only positive reactions after that :) Anyway, I think it can be considered unpolite to record someone and their property without their permition. Even I would be thinking wtf Is happening, whater the guy is some deviant or Is recording my adress for whatever reason. Cuz no one does it. Now imagine some paranoid oldies who can be antisocial even in a normal situation. Small talk with strangers is also happening more in a specific place and time (like in a train or trip). Some ppl prefer to be left alone in their private garden. I know u mean nothing bad, just explaining why u can get some negative reactions :) But I like your videos and locations, hope u will get some non Czechs viewers soon! :D
No please don't feel sorry for me dude 😂 I totally understand 😁 But even If she felt a certain way she had no reason to be a nasty woman for that fact that I was just walking past minding my own business on a public road its not like I entered a private gated residential area, but I understand the old are not use to it.. It seemed like she was just looking for the trouble with me.. Most educated people know what's going on when they see a camera 😂 especially if they know I'm a foreigner they would expect that I am just collecting my videos or photos for my trip. I wanted show on purpose the encounters that a UA-camr may come across. I know there are good bad people out there because I have travel experience's. I kind of know what to expect at times you know. My job is to travel and document. I could have cut her rudeness out my video but it would not have made it authentic. Also as a UA-camr I know I should not take these things to personal I have to act professional and handle the situation appropriately. But yes I will not take other peoples behavior personal because as you know every one may have a different reaction to a man with a camera lol. By the way my camera its soo small I'm surprised it was even seen because its not one of those big obvious cameras. 😁Thank for watching..

When you say Karen, I imagine a crazy screaming woman out of her mind. It's very usual for elderly people to dislike being filmed and put on the internet and I think there's legitimate arguments for that in terms of privacy, especially when she's literally in her own house. I don't think that lady was anything near what you'd call a Karen. I think that since she expressed her discomfort about being recorded, the best thing for you would be to respect it and not use that part in your video. But yeah, that's just my take. I know you won't cause you need clicks.
I don't know about the Czech Republic, but in Germany, where I live, it would be illegal to use a clip of a person in a film without their permission. That was my first thought -- she was asking for her privacy as afforded by the law. I'd double check the Czech law to make sure she can't sue you in case she finds the clip. And I don't want that to happen, André, because I love your films!
I think that's a sound argument, but I didn't like the way she formulated her objections. She could've been more positively assertive. Instead she was being aggressive, really.
You handled the situation well. Karens don't deserve attention. You're such a great guy! Im from Slovakia but I live thousands of miles away that's why I love watching your videos! Cheers mate!

You can take pictures of houses outside their property, as they dont own visual aspect of it.
Ask Google Maps how they achieve that, btw they can look inside your garden for example.
You are Karen and discrace to your name-tag.

I appreciate that! Thank you. More non touristy videos to come :)
Czech people like to see czechia on youtube.. Small nation.. Big ambitions 😉
Ja jestem z Polski😁
Everytime he asks if they have ‘slepice’ (chicken) i’m dead 😂
Ow, that's pretty normal around Czech villages to be questioned about taking pictures or filming. I'm native urban planner in here and during surveys with cameras and drones this kind of argument happens almost every time.
I feel like everyone needs this guy in their lives
Much appreciated 🙂
yeah, we all need a person to invade our privacy and then upload us onto youtube.
Czech, their village looks good and neat
Thanks for this coverage. Believe me,from what I have seen here, the world is one. Just seeing people within their houses, birds whispering, dogs barking, seeing the churches/chapels and so on. So lovely world.

He was filming her without consent. Let me just pull up into your bathroom and record you as you shower. Would you like that? NO? Then don't call the woman a Karen.
@@greyngreyer5 Was he filming her while she was in the bathroom?
@@areguapiri No. Would you be outraged then? Just the same, people have differing notions of private space. For some it's their very yard. You're rude and disgusting.
@@greyngreyer5 Idk about Czech, but in the US and much of the world u can record in public places as much as u want
Oh my God listening to this is so nice idk why maybe just because I speak Czech lol
Btw you are too nice for being in Czech republic, we have there too many karens
Hey! Just wanted to say i love your videos so much. Even tho i live in Czech it's still really cool to see you walk through some Czech villages and talk to people. Btw your Czech is actually really nice!
I love the fact that you can interact like that in that language ❤️
u're definition of positive energy man, love ur videos
Your czech is very good to say its not your first language I can't belive how well your doing mate well done love the fact people are supporting czech this way 👏
Ohh, dude, I feel sorry for u! I can imagine now why some foreigners think Czechs ar quite hostile people, ha ha xD Glad u got only positive reactions after that :)
Anyway, I think it can be considered unpolite to record someone and their property without their permition.
@@AndreTraveler She was definitelly that type of bored pensionist looking for truble or someone to be angry with. "JÉŽIŠMARJA!"

You are a cool guy, you deserve more views.
