This is such a great series. I can see the series becoming a complete guide on 4JX1's.

FYI in case it wasn't mentioned.
The oil ingress comes from the RAIL PRESSURE SENSOR.
The HI pressure oil seeps past the internal seal of the sensor.
The electrical (3 pink leads) connector to it has a strong multi-lip seal.
The oil then gets PUSHED into the 3 pink wires and gathers into the external connector.
The oil then causes data/voltage issue = driveability/starting problems.
Clean AT BEST is a TEMPORARY fix.
Fix = replace loom AND the 3 pin rail pressure sensor.
Problem though eventually DOES come back.
Want to stop it from happenning again ?
Cut a small 1mm nip of the wire cover to expose a bit of the wire on each of the 3 CENTER pink wires on the SAME side as the connector locking clip.
That way the oil will come out from the wire and not go into the loom since the pressure is now relieved.
My loom & sensor were repalced twice under warranty and again myself twice with new parts .grrrrr.
When I did it 7 years ago I clip the insulation as above.?
    Gues what ?
There is oil dampness around the cuts but NOTHING in the connector.
Car continues to run fine 24 years/380k -- touch wood :)

That goes against what I was told, it is the multi strand wires that allow capillary action that gets the oil to the plug from all the harness wires

@@thejackaroo4WDcampingchannel Capillary action still requires a source.
The 6 internal connections are all triple lip sealed onto the 4 injectors, oil temp sensor, rail pressure sensor.
All the 10 pink wires are internally sealed and are unable to suck oil in through their pink insulation.
There is no oil pressure coming from the injector coils - so not the source.
The oil temp sensor internals are sealed in a metal housing - so not the source.
The RAIL PRESSURE sensor has on openning direct to the hi-press oil - BINGO, the source :)
Eventually its internal seal fails (like the internal injector o-rings)
This leakage then forces its way to the 3 pin connector and into the 3 pink wires continuing into the external connector.
Approx 7 years ago I nicked those 3 pink wires on the enngine side of that connector.
      Inside the connector remains dry.
Yet I have oil at the 3 nicked pink wires.
Where does that oil from the 3 pink wires come from and connect to ?
      The RAIL PRESSURE sensor.

been having starting problems with mine stops when i put it in gear AUTO runs rough in gear oil in this plug i mite have to try to mod the wiring as well, did you mod your wiring on injector harness as well

Oil in the injector harness plug is common, you need to check if ECU plugs are contaminated too. Yes I modded the injector harness.

Hello, the problem is that it does not start and I put spray through the intake, it starts failing and more than 2000 rpm, otherwise the engine stops, what should I do? ...thank you

You will need to identify what the issue is being caused by. Have you made any changes lately such as an engine service?
