- "Love Hurts" is a song written and composed by the American songwriter Boudleaux Bryant. First recorded by the Everly Brothers in July 1960, the song is also well known from a 1975 international hit version by the Scottish hard rock band Nazareth.
This is an alternate version to this great song by Nazareth performed on Toppop on 16 January 1976. Also check out the original chromokey version on the Toppop Channel!

Go back even further to the late 60s / early 70s, and take the United Kingdom - they gave us Steve Marriot, Rod Stewart, Robert Plant, Paul Rodgers, Paul McCartney, Lennon, Noddy Holder, Elton, Bowie....these singers could easily fill a top 10-15 allt-ime rock vocalist list...I can only think of Axl Rose (the best imo) who could match....the level of talent from England / UK over a 8-10 yr period in the history of rock is incredible....something in the water
