Being a guy from the south and transplanted when I was young I actually understood everything Yella and Twista said. I started listening to Twista, Tech, and any more artists from back in the day when I was in high school on the late 90’s. Hell, I have all of Tech’s albums on CD still to this day.
I love Tech because he always comes with the swagger and the heat! He almost sounds robotic! Even if he is rapping so damn fast it’s hard to catch the bars. Just the way he puts it together is fire!

The artists are do it for themselves AND the heads that will go back and listen and appreciate it for what it is. The fast chopping isn't accessible to listen to, but its full of insane technical and lyrical skill that those who do appreciate it WILL go back. I like to compare it to wine or whiskey, there are the mainstream easy drinking that the masses consume, but when you get off into the weeds you're finding things to try simply for the experience, not because you think its easy to drink or that you think it'll be your favorite daily drinker.
In terms of speed vs clarity, I always thought Busta MURDERED THIS SONG! He's fast as hell just like the rest, but he's clearer than everyone else (to me). And I agree with you bruh...Busta is CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED!!!
