It's not very well sign posted where the pistes split from blue to red is it?

I'm checking out the resort in a couple of weeks. Looks like some good off piste opportunities there! Backed by the phrase "good beginner or intermediate resort" usually means good off piste opportunities without getting too badly tracked out. What's your thoughts?

Hi, we had fresh snow on the Saturday, flat light on the Sunday and by Monday, it seemed to be getting tracked out pretty quickly. That doesn’t mean there isn’t the chance for fresh tracks, but may require a bit more of a hike or local knowledge! It’s not like 20 years ago where only a few ventured out back.

@@todaysnewride4466 Just gotta hope I'm lucky.Val Presena looks like a great Itinary. What are conditions like towards/inside the tunnel? Is it possible to ski down to the 3 towerblocks or has the snow got thin down there? With modern ski equipment becoming so good, more people are able to enter the back country which is wehy I was hoping Tonal would be a bit quieter. Will be there in a few days

Hi, I think you’ll have a good time there, the resort is high so the snow quality should be good down to 1600m. There is a lot of terrain to play with. Be safe and have a great trip!
